In November 2021 I attended Andy's Metaphor of movement training ( Level 1 and 2 ). From first contact with Andy, prior to attending the course and throughout, his Integrity shone through. There are no airs and graces just a guy who Cleary knows his stuff and lots more too. He encourages interaction and does not push you to speak if that is not your style. Having trained with a umber of people over the ears I will say this. The guy exudes integrity and honesty, he is not there to change your mind he is a man who helps you think and grow. And sometimes that is a little challenging but ultimately worthwhile. I learnt so much and was encouraged to try out new ideas and to go and study on my own. And when I was stuck he would give me advice and guidance, no he doesn't give answers he points your in the right direction and genuinely wants you to learn. The course was all that it should be and lots more. I have connected with quite a few from the course and we now help each other with metaphors. In a sentence, If you want the answers then ask Andy, if you really want the answers then ask him and he will make sure you're ready to explore. .Moreexpand_more
I 've been following Andrew's work for some years now because his way of looking at therapie resonates with mine. I think he, like me, has a healty realistic positive pessimistic view on result based therapy. Every course of Andrew I have attended or online is marvelously in depth and practicaly usefull. He "simply" know's what he's talking about through research, trial and error. I've implemented a lot of his teachings in my work with cliënts with great result.
Metaphors of movement - mandatory knowledge for people who want to communicate consciously and want to understand the other person. For me, this workshop is one of the most important discoveries in building skills of coach and trainer, very useful in everyday life and business. Andrew teaches exactly what himself tested and knows how it works. He teaches the practice in the most professional manner which can be found among the trainers and therapists. A whole workshops illustrates many examples from his own practice. Andrew, thanks a lot.
I've been using Andrew Austins Integral Eye Movement Technique for a little over a year now with astonishing results. As a personal trainer and nutrition coach using Andy's IEMT with clients, I've found that once the client is free from the issues of the past, they can easily move forward with exercise and nutritional interventions. Andrews training videos are top quality, providing step by step instructions on how to deliver the techniques. I will continue investing in his training and cannot wait for future in person seminars. Thanks for the amazing product Andy!
Having experienced IEMT through a practitioner and solving a long issue I saw the link for POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER course. I purchased this course as somebody very close to me suffers PTSD and although I will not use what I learned with the course (will leave that to the experts) it has taught me a great deal of the cause and continuation of PTSD which means I can help this person on a more understanding level. I have also watched numerous video clips all of which are very informative.
Andy always delivers highly innovative and entertaining trainings with a huge knowledge base and vast experience. His courses are incredible value for money and in fact too cheap in my opinion, as he is not just regurgitating other people's ideas. For that he should charge a premium. This body of work is by far and away the most effective set of modalities available anywhere.
Omg, Andrew Austin is captivating to watch, straight to the point, unbelievably wise and knowledgable, and a fantastic teacher. He thinks outside of the box which is so refreshing these days in the land of therapy. Nothing is ever the same after listening to him. He makes you think long long after the training. Fascinating on all levels.
I rarely do reviews for products as I think we all buy and consume too much as it is ;-) However, when it comes to personal transformation and the type/range of services Andrew Austin offers… Well I can't recommend him enough. We all need more of what Andy can offe! He has helped me with a few personal issues over the years and I have attended a number of his workshops over the last 10 years from which I have greatly benefited from. I have also referred him to others who have had great results too. If you want to impact change but don't know how to definitely give him a go, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
I have been aware of Andy's work for many years, having attended one of his early IEMT workshops. His unconventional and pragmatic style really appeals to me and have over many years learned more about IEMT from him (am now training it to very happy therapists), Metaphors of Movement, Phantom Limb Pain and even business skills. More than that, I have learned how to approach clients in a very effective and real way. His book 'The Rainbow Machine' should be a must read for anyone working with people. As someone who has hosted Andy to deliver training several times, he is very easy to work with and is totally reliable. I'd recommend any product or service from Andy very highly.
My husband and I have done 2 courses with Andrew. He is a very thorough and patient trainer. He is also a very engaging speaker which made his courses all the more enjoyable. We learnt so much in a short space of time and found his methods easy to follow and very effective. We did the IEMT and Metaphors courses and can thoroughly recommend both.
I have had a 1-2-1 session with Andrew Austin and brought several products from him. I found his teachings and insights to be massively valuable and thought provoking. He tends to approach subjects from a different angle to most change-workers or therapists which I find very refreshing.
I've taken a couple of trainings with Andy Austin and they have been exceptional. Not only was the content accurate and applicable, the knowledge given immense, but every word was relevant. There was no filler, and every word, every sentence was designed to help me be better. 100% recommended. Good fun too! Andy is also one of my leading peers and is a person I turn to for help, advice and mentorship, as well as being one of the few people I trust wholeheartedly to refer clients to.
Guaranteed to sound cliché but with no other option, Andrew Austin's Metaphors of Movement course changed my life for the better. Strolling around the green pastures of therapy/self-help/hypnosis I came across the rabbit hole of Metaphors of Movement, "Oh a nice course about language and metaphors and such" I thought. Two years later I'm still wandering around the fascinating metaphorical landscapes of the unconscious mind. The course well very well put together. A solid pace of progression without being too demanding. The structure of the knowledge taught was easy to grasp. It was also exceptionally fun and interesting to revisit an area of language (metaphors) that I had extremely underestimated in terms of power/utility and significance. For a cynical person who doesn't seem to like people all that much Andrew was also very open, easy approach and pose questions to. I look forward to being able to participate in a Level 3 course of MoM.Moreexpand_more
I have trained with many well known trainers and familiar with the work of many others in the field of theraphy. Andrew is the most innovative of them all with his IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Technique) and MOM (Metaphors of Movement) which takes the work with clients to quite another level. On behalf of my clients and myself, thank you Andy! We are all grateful.
I have attended Andys Metaphor of Movement training levels 1-3 and found it to be absolutely amazing for a number of reasons. Andys in depth knowledge of his subject and the easy fun style he delivered it made it so easy to learn and put into practice straight away. I have attended NLP trainings but MOM in my humble opinion is so much more effective. Andy cares passionately about his trainings and his therapy and with his years of knowledge from a wide range of experience you will not find a better trainer/therapist.
I've been thought the IEMT material founded by Andrew and have bought several of his material (like "magic depression and trauma in mental space"). I really like his dedication to the field, the value he offers by sharing his knowledge and just putting a different view on existing material. He's not in it for the money, but really for making a difference in the world and I like that a lot. Looking forward to training with him in April on MoM.
