Acupuncturespace is run by Elma McElligott RGN, BSc (Hons), MBAcC, Lic Ac, and is located in Bexhill-on-Sea and Crowborough, East Sussex.

Elma qualified from the International college of Oriental Medicine with a BA(Hons) and Licentiate of Acupuncture after four years of study. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) and complies with current UK health and safety legislation. Elma is appropriately insured and honours a strict code of discipline, ethics, hygiene and confidentiality between patient and practitioner.

A variety of health issues including migraines and Headaches, anxiety, insomnia and depression are treated at this clinic. Support is also provided for those undergoing IVF and associated interventions for infertility. Pregnancy acupuncture and induction is also available.

Elma practises Five Element, Stems and Branches acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Elma has a steady network of clients, situated around Bexhill-on-sea and Hove in Brighton, and treats both private and NHS patients. A list of insurance providers who either wholly or partly reimburse for acupuncture treatment is available on both the British Acupuncture Councils website and the acupuncturespace website. As all treatment is tailored to the individual patient, a wide range of conditions are treated.

Elma McElligott is a member of The British Acupuncture Council(MBAcC) and is on the register of the Nursing and Midwifery Council(NMC).
