About ACT Now Hydrotherapy
Aquatic Canine Therapy LTD (ACT Now) is situated in Newbury. All of the Hydrotherapists are trained to ABC Level 3 Certificate in Small Animals. We are members of the Canine Hydrotherapy Association which means that the centre must operate to high standards in an areas, this also means that Insurance companies may pay for treatment under the complementary health section of the Pet Insurance policy. We are just a short drive from Reading, Basingstoke and other surrounding areas.
We use an Aquatic treadmill which allows us to view the movement of the dog from all sides. We can also get into the treadmill if the dog requires more support that can be provided from holding the safety harness from above.
Prior to your dog going into the treadmill we will shower them to remove any dirt or debris and post session we will shower and then towel dry your dog to remove as much water as possible. We do have use of a blow dryer if your dog is happy with it.
All Hydrotherapists are fully trained and all certificates are available for inspection in the centre. Please feel free to pop in to see our centre and to discuss our qualifications and what being a member of the CHA guarantees you as a customer.
