I can recomend A&J 100%. They installed a new Ideal CH Boiler with no disruption and cleaned up as they worked. They were punctual and curteous and it is satisfying and reassuring to know they will be available to so the annual service.

Jon came to do a routine job, but he came over within two days and did it without fuss and with a really pleasant manner. I asked him advice on other problems I had and he took time to look at them, and he remembered to email me back later with what he could do about them, which I appreciated.

I was most impressed with their professionalism. Within a matter of days of first contacting Jon, he had organised access to the property and got the job done! Of equal importance is the fact that their prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again.

I have just used A&J for the first time, for a number of less than straightforward gas safety inspections. I spent the morning with A&J partner Jon Willcock, who was very helpful, flexible and knowledgable. A bonus was the follow-up with accurate and timely paperwork. Repaired combi-boiler. Jon called round to assess the work, gave us a quote and completed the work most promptly and efficiently despite being at a very busy time of the year. I would have no hesitation in recommending Alex and Jon, I found them extremely reliable.

I contacted 3 different tradespeople for a quote to install a combi boiler. One never turned up and British Gas provided me with a quote substantially dearer than Alex and Jon for a near identical product. Alex and Jon called at exactly the time they said they would, suggested the best options to me and contacted me with a quote 2 hours later. They were happy to answer all my questions by text and email and I was able to arrange a date for installation when I wanted. They turned up on time, were friendly, polite and took a great deal of care in protecting my carpets and worktops whilst they carried out the installation and were very efficient and hard-working. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

We contacted A and J Gas and Plumbing Services via Email and got an immediate. Response followed by an inspection and a quote for fitting a Combi Boiler. After accepting the quote a date was arranged to do the work, they arrived exactly as planned and carried out the work efficiently and tidily. Fantastic service – highly recommended. I requested a gas fire service via email and A&J responded almost immediately and carried out the work the very next morning. Arrived when they said they would, thoroughly nice chap who knows his job inside out. Explained everything he needed to do and was spotlessly clean whilst working. Thoroughly checked our flue system (visiting all levels of our home to test for fumes). Instilled absolute confidence in his work. Will certainly use again.

We got ripped off by a few plumbers and had begun to lose all hope in finding a plumber who wasn't a cowboy. Then we came across A&J. Right from the free consultation we knew we had made the right desicion. We had to have our boiler replaced. And we weren't let down like all the other plumbers. Had an old back boiler and gas fire removed, water tanks etc taken out from airing cupboard and a new combi-boiler and gas cooker installed by Alex and Jon last week. Fantastic, friendly service. Dispruption kept to a minimum for the three days they were working. Nothing is too much trouble for these boys. I recommend A and J Gas to anyone who is looking to have some work done. This is our first encounter with Alex and Jon following a friends recommendation. We had a number of problems with our system which needed to be replaced plus we found a few extra jobs for them to do! We found the service exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Alex and Jon are 2 lovely lads. I always have my boiler serviced by them. They offer great customer service, exceptional prices and the quality of work produced by the lads is first class. They have a life long customer in me!

My boiler was making a banging sound and a friend recommended these guys, they came round diagnosed the problem and when the part arrived it was fitted the following day, and never had any more problems with it since, will definitely recommend A&J gas to anyone.
