Alpha PAT Testing offers you a safe and reliable Portable Appliance Testing service. Aimed primarily at small and medium-sized businesses, it meets the requirements of the IET Code of Practice 4th Edition.
For your safety and peace of mind, its fully-qualified test inspector is trained to the nationally-recognised City and Guilds 2377 standard and has a million pound public liability insurance cover. For work in places that may require it, such as educational establishments, he has enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) clearance.
Alpha uses the latest technology test instruments that are designed for professional use. To ensure continued consistent accuracy, they are regularly and independently calibrated.

Alpha aims to supply customers with a professional and thorough inspection and testing service, offering :
A full visual inspection of each socket, plug (including inside where possible), cable and appliance.
Accumulated dust removal and fuse replacement if necessary.
Earth Continuity, Insulation Resistance and Leakage tests carried out on each appliance.
All relevant labelling, documentation and certification.
Optional extras such as microwave leakage testing and socket testing are also available at a competitive price.
