Just had these lads carry out some repair work on our roof…. Can't recommend them high enough. Professional job, attention to detail, and they clean up afterwards too. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Called about a broken gutter, came straight over, quoted and fixed in 30 mins. To hire the size ladders needed Jewson quoted £30, 1st Active Roofing charged less for the fix. Great service.

1st Active have just re-slated my 3 bed semi hip roof in Rivelin with Riverdale man made slate and angular ridging. I can say that they have done an excellent job. It is clear that Kirk is a very experienced and knowledgeable roofer who gives good honest advice, and they carried the work out promptly resulting in a very smart professional job. Kirk and colleague Jason as well as their workers are polite, friendly and efficient and left the site tidy. I first used 1st Active Roofing in 2011 when I needed some new guttering. On the recommendation of a neighbour who had similar work done, I went to them for a quote. The work was carried out to a high standard. Two weeks ago I decided that the roof on my summerhouse needed re-felting. I approached 1st Active, and Mr Rodgers came out promptly to have a look. He gave me two quotes, one for re-felting and the other for re-boarding and replacement with GRP fibreglass. As the summerhouse is in good condition with a penthouse roof, I decided to go for the latter. A suitable date was arranged and the work was carried out in the day as promised, and at the cost quoted. The work was done to a high standard, as far as I could tell, and they cleaned up afterwards. We contacted 1st Active roofing recently to repair a fascia/soffit and also a quote for gutter and downpipe cleaning. Kirk came the next day with a quote and did the jobs on the same day. Would highly recommend.

Superb service from start to finish. Full roof replacement on mid-terrace with large off-shoot to the rear of the property. The finished result looks great, the guys were efficient and polite and I was kept up to date all the way through. I would absolutely recommend in future. Thanks!

Myself and my neighbour had 1st active roofing to come and remove the dry ridge system and old ridge tiles after another roofing company did it wrong, they renewed the ridge tiles the proper way and did a perfect job at a good price, would highly recommend these guys, job completed 8/11/16.

Replaced wooden guttering at the back, cleared the guttering at the front. Came out quickly to quote. Reasonable price. Work done two weeks later as stated. Nice clean job, all mess cleared away. Very impressed, especially with the extra downpipe added to our own drain.
