Derek Compton of FPWS offered the most competitive quote of the three party wall surveyors I approached. He delivered exceptional service and value for money, not least by explaining that he would charge only reimbursement of a £7 Land Registry fee in the event that the owner of the next-door house consented to the party wall works without needing a surveyor. All correspondence and documents were immaculately prepared and presented to me and the other owner, who did consent to the work by agreement, without survey. I wouldn't hesitate to use Derek and FPWS again if the need arose.
