Maroon spice catered for over 100 people at our funeral reception. A very professional service from start to finish. Excellent food! Curry Goat, Chicken and fish very tasty everyone loved it and went for more. Rice and coleslaw was perfection! Macaroni, cheese and Desert awesome! Plenty of options to choose from. Good portions. Amazing experience, great team and great food. The food was so good that everyone asked for containers to take food home. Danny and the team were, punctual, polite and professional, and recieved many compliments from my guests. My menu was also amended to accommodate all. Our review is seriously overdue (4 years) that is how amazing maroon spices are. We are still using them therefore still able to do a review. A massive thank you to Maroon Spices for the catering you have done for us over the last 4 years. We first hired Maroon Spices for our wedding in 2015 after a taster. The food at our wedding was delicious and that also came from our guests. Needless to say there was no food left for doggie bags. They were also very professional. Since then Maroon Spices have catered for my dad's birthday which was a take away service in 2015 which was delivered to us by Danny, my dad's funeral in 2017 and recently my great niece's christening on the 30th June 2019. As per usual the food was on point and all the guests were constantly saying how delicious the food was. We can confidently say that any function we have Maroon Spices will be supplying the food. Thank you for catering for my daughter's 1st birthday. The barbecue and chicken curry were delicious and the rum punch was very popular. The presentation was great. Danny and Gloria were very helpful when booking and organising. Thanks to the whole team.

Maroon Spice catered for my husband's 50th party on 7th July 2018. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They also made the cake and it looked beautiful and tasted great. I requested a particular style of cake and they made it exactly the way I wanted it. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his evening. All the guests commented on how lovely the food and service was. Danny came to the venue to discuss logistics and the best way to run our day at the golf club. There was good communication leading up to the event and he and his staff arrived on time to set up. Days after the event I was receiving messages on how great the food and service was. I couldn’t recommend Maroon Spice highly enough. Fantastic food and lots of it with greatservice, well done.

I have been to two funerals this year and at both events they used Maroon Spice and the food and service was exceptional. When we had to organise my parents 70th Wedding Anniversary which was set to be an auspicious event. We all knew that this was the catering company for us. It was difficult at first as a lot of venues don’t allow third party catering and we were told on several occasions that we could not bring in our own catering team. I was becoming anxious as all the large hotels or halls insisted we used their caterers. As a last attempt I called Danny and and asked him if he could recommend a suitable venue. That was when all my prayers were answered he put us in touch with a wonderful venue The Chiswick Banqueting Suite and we held our event there. Danny and his team worked really hard and produced top quality food we had a Caribbean hot buffet and the staff were super helpful, polite and very professional. We are still receiving comments on how wonderful the event was and that the food was delicious and served by such a wonderful team. Danny is a stickler for detail and he made sure our day was successful and stress free. Gloria is the head chef and we could not complement her and the team enough for producing such a lovely spread. From the moment we met Danny and Gloria we knew they would be the ones that catered our wedding. They were our first and only wedding food tasting and we not only loved their food, but their warmth and friendliness made us feel that our day would be safe in their hands. Danny was ever the professional and was prompt in replying to all emails and this professionalism continued on the day. The food and service was on point. We hired Maroon Spice for our sisters funeral. The staff were very pleasant and professional at all times. All the guest enjoyed the food and the portion were adequate. Danny, thanks again for your catering service. You helped to make my father's 80th birthday celebration a memorable occasion. Considering that we had not met prior to Saturday and I had not sampled the catering prior to the event, I was relieved when everything just came together on the night. Gloria and Danny provided an excellent service for my 50th birthday party. Once again I used them for my brothers funeral. The food was amazing and served hot, the catering team worked at a professional standard. My family and I would like to say thank you for your support and kindness during this difficult time.

We had a difficult time this year as we lost our Dear Mum. As always the funeral arrangements were demanding, but Danny from Maroon Spice was excellent. From our first meeting he took control of that aspect of the day and I didn't have to concern myself with the catering again. He helped us sort the menu, estimate numbers and he organised the practicalities in the hall. The food was superb and Mum had a great send off.

My Father passed away and I quickly had to find a catering firm. I was given the option of 5 companies and Maroon Spice came back promptly and answered all the questions I asked. They pointed me to their website and I also viewed them on Youtube. I must admit I had no experience with their work but they delivered a fantastic service and treated my guests with the utmost respect and like Royalty. Nothing and I mean nothing was too much for them. My guests are still speaking about them now. The ambiance and the management of the post event ran smoothly and coffee was supplied on entry and hors d’oeuvre given out as soon as guests entered the venue and until the main menu was served. The staff had sanitisers on their belts; and wipes were supplied for all guests. The plates and cutlery were paper plates but they had style and you would not have noticed this at all. The attention to detail was so high and way above what I have ever seen. Tables were cleared and serviettes removed to offer a clear and clean table all along the timing until the end of the event. There was so much food that the guests were able to have further supply if they wish. I personally thank the Event Manger Danny for the way we were treated and I would recommend them always for any catering event.Moreexpand_more

I would recommend Maroon Spice to any of my friends and family, as I had the best experience from start to finish. The service which we received at my dad's 60th birthday, was amazing, I couldn't wish for a better catering company. The food was outstanding, we had over 150 guests and everyone said that the whole service was superb. I will definitely use Maroon spice again, when organising another event.

Having read positive reviews I took a gamble and hired Maroon spice for my sons's christening without trying the food first. The food was absolutely outstanding and our guests had nothing but praise. The Jerk chicken is amazing and the best I've tasted to date. I will definitely be using them again. I also found Danny really accomodating with my menu choice and specific requests leading up to the event. 10 out of 10!
