Brilliant shop, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, we always pay a visit when we go to Rochester, so many great things to look at especially the beautiful gemstones.

Love this shop! The owner is extremely knowledgeable and keen to share this! Wish I could visit every day!

This is an excellent store. With friendly and great advice for the beginner. Huge amount of stock over many subjects. I will certainly become a regular customer.

I approached "I Dig Dinos" following my son's request that I find an insect in amber for a birthday present. After an extensive search, with regular contact about progress, IDD found not one but two brilliant specimens. These came as agreed, with excellent accompanying photographs, securely through the post. The whole experience was a pleasure - nothing was too much trouble - I shall certainly be back for more.

My kids spent over an hour utterly enthralled . There was lots in interesting info with plenty of exhibits that you were encouraged to touch , and a demontration on how to crack open your own geode. The enthusiasm of the fella talking to us was infectious- we were all totally caught up in it. And the kids each got to take away lovey momento of they day - an additional thrill. I would recomend a session here with your kids and prepare to enjoy it yourself too - it was great. We will be back for more!

Terence did my Son's 8th birthday party today and WOW what a party it was. I have already had 3 texts from parents saying it was the best party the kids had ever been to. My Son was absolutely delighted and chuffed to bits with the Dino tooth and Sharks tooth which Terence gave to him. Terence is very polite and so knowledgeable. He spoke to the children and played lots of games and kept them interested for nearly 2 hours. All the children loved him and I could personally spend hours talking to him about the Dino's and fossils as he makes it all so interesting and fun for the children. All the way in the run up to the party Terence and Tracy kept me informed and were always very friendly. We will definitely be visiting the shop and Harry has even said he quite fancies another dinosaur party. A comment from 1 parent (which was lovely to hear) was that she didn't know her child knew so much about dinosaurs and that she was even very interested in them. I highly recommend this fossil store. The items I bought were of good quality and were also much cheaper than they are at other places. The postage costs are really good too and the items arrived within 2 days. Highly recommended!

I have purchased quite a number of ambers & copals from IDD & have NEVER been disappointed. Each piece was well packaged & included details of its origin & approximate age plus a list of inclusions, etc. Shipping charges are low from the on-line shop & zero for eBay purchases - you cannot get better than free! I have had contact with IDD via eBay, through the on-line shop & via email - to ask about the availability of certain types of specimen. All of my queries have been dealt with quickly & in a courteous, but friendly way. Terence is extremely knowledgeable & always very helpful. IDD it is my first port of call when looking for new ambers & copals; it is now on my shortlist of fossil & rock shops when I am looking to purchase additional rocks & fossils for my collection.
