Lovely Andrew has fixed several of our appliances in Bradford Place, Penarth over the years…. He is amazing ! Always on time, never ever overcharges (I'm surprised he doesn't charge more), plus he always listens to me chatting 10 to the dozen… He deserves a medal! Kelly, his wife, is also delightful, always a pleasure to speak to on the phone… She too deserves a medal ! Eeheeh Thank you both. June and Rob xx.

Just called to ask for a visit to my elderly parents in Penarth. Was asked about the model and problem and given a suggested fix without a call out. That turned out to solve the issue quickly. They could quite easily come out, quick fix and charged for it. Not only does this show product knowledge but integrity when dealing with customers, especially the elderly! Respect.

First class service phoned made an appointment for them to come out, advised there would be a call out charge which would be reduced if they could not fix the machine. Called to at the arranged time fixed the appliance and deducted the cost of the parts from the call out charge. Perfect I have used before and will again thank you.

Called on a Tuesday morning and they were here the same day. Very efficient, friendly and did a fantastic job fixing my washing machine. Affordable and will definitely recommend to others.

We have had 2 call outs recently, the first for our dishwasher and second for our washing machine and cooker that both broke in the same week. Andrew had the parts needed to fix our appliances straight away. Excellent service from Andrew and very reasonable fees. Highly recommend.

Arrived at 10:45 for a 10am - 2pm appointment slot, so nice and early. Andrew was quick, professional, pleasant and got the testing and repair of the fault done inside a few minutes, giving a full explanation as he did so. Would definitely use again and would recommend.

I contacted the company over the weekend and was given some appointment options first thing Monday morning. By early Tuesday afternoon, Andrew had already been round and repaired the oven! Quick and friendly service, with excellent administrative support from Kelly in the office. Ray Thomas and Son were far better value than the quote I had from the national company who made the oven. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Excellent service - emailed them as had an issue with tumble dryer drum not turning, myself and husband had tried to fix and failed ! Emailed back with a quote and appointment made, Andrew phoned before he arrived and sorted it out. Quick, reasonable and professional service - would highly recommend.

Called them out for an emergency as the handle on the washing machine had snapped off, was told they were fully booked but understood the urgency as there was work and school clothes still in the machine, I was told that they would be out as soon as they could. Arrived by 10am and fixed the problem straight away. Amazing service and would highly recommend them.

Emergency call out about a washing machine full of water which wouldn’t drain, in a 3rd floor flat…. The company came back straight away, attended and solved a potential disaster ! Courteous, knowledgable, efficient and came to less than some ‘yellow pages’ call out fees. Cannot praise them enough, to them it might of been a small job but to me it was a lifesaver, please use this company as they are fantastic. Nick, Penarth.

From beginning to end this was a pleasure. Appointments made and times kept. Our 12 year old dishwasher wasn’t cleaning properly but with some gentle attention is now working like a dream.

Fourth time I've used Andrew. Always an efficient and value for money service from himself and I assume his wife who calls regarding arrangements etc. Has diagnosed and repaired faults to both my washing machine and tumble dryer and on one occasion where the item was not repairable did not charge me a call out. Rare integrity. Would recommend confidently.

E06 error on my washing machine, it stopped working half way through cycle and full of water. Lovely helpful lady on the phone booked me in for a call out. Arrived on time, very knowledgable gent. Felt very confident in his assessment. W Machine now working perfectly. Very nice company to. Do business with, wouldn’t use anyone else if needed in the future.

Very efficient, friendly and reasonably priced service - we now have a working oven again.

I have an apartment in Cardiff Bay but don't live there. I had to call Ray Thomas and Son as the washer/dryer had a fault. They attended quickly and repaired the fault, liaising with me at all times. They were quick and efficient and excellent value for money! I would highly recommend this Company.

This is a Review with a difference… my mother had Ray Thomas repair her washing machine… amazing. Young guy came. Could not find fault and didn't charge her a penny…. . And since then we have gone to them for various recommendations. They recommend service men… A Plumber, a Hoover repair man. An odd job man… you name it… Every Person they have recomended has been Fantastic… So good as my mother is an Senior Citizen and sometimes people can take advantage…. … These guys take good care of her… Thank you Ray Thomas, I will continue to come to you for recomendations….
