Gill was fantastic in her customer service and I’m absolutely please to recommend “your wedding shop” to persons who are looking for a fabulous wedding dress to look the best on your wedding day.

Found my dream dress here and a very decent price staff are lovely and so helpful.

Had the most amazing experience here today. Gill was absolutely incredible, so kind, so helpful and she really listened to everything I was saying and pulling me dresses I loved, felt so at ease and comfortable with her and my family who came to the appointment with me have spoke so highly of Gill too. The range of dresses to choose from was incredible, the prices were amazing better than I could of imagined and the quality was amazing. I couldn't recommend this place any more! What a amazing team from start to finish, this was my 2nd dress, my 1st choice was a tea dress but sadly had a skin reaction to the material, the staff made me feel at ease, and was allowed to change my dress without question and wasn't disappointed, excellent service throughout by all the team, they recommended a seamstress which came to my house and did a fab job, adjusting the length and sewing on a belt, had the dress steamed before the wedding free of charge. Great customer service.

Visited today to find my perfect tea length wedding dress. Lucy was excellent from start to finish and was able to help find me the perfect dress. So glad I found this shop and can't wait to get married in my dress.

Thank you thank you thank you, we had an amazing experience choosing my dress Gill was incredibly supportive, patient and made everyone feel at ease. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, no judgment on my size (always a worry when you are a plus size) and plenty of choice for a more mature bride, my guests were involved, opinions listened too and then Gill would be off and running to find more dresses to try, not that I will get married again, but I would not hesitate to return and will be recommending to anyone looming. Absolutely amazing service I received there today. I have bad anxiety and was dreading the day of dress shopping, due to being plus size and not comfortable with trying on clothes generally. But as soon ad I walked in the door I felt welcome! The staff were amazing, so helpful reassuring, and very honest with me! I tried on 4 dresses and fell in love with the second dress I tried on. Absolutely amazing. The ladies are lovely and very helpful. As a plus size women I have struggled to find a dress and with my wedding being in August I thought I'd have to get married in my PJs ? But thanks to the lovely ladies I have found my dress. They made me feel so comfortable.

I had my first experience yesterday at your wedding dress shop. I was extremely nervous and with being a plus size bride wasn’t sure about trying on dresses or if there would even be one to fit. I was attended to by Lucy who was so nice and friendly and put me at ease straightaway and she said lanything I wasn’t comfortable with or if I wanted to stop at anytime to just say. There was a number of dresses in big sizes available to see or try and nothing was too much they gave really good advice and checked all my options as I was stuck between two dresses. But after speaking to the also lovely abi today I’ve finally chosen my dress. I can’t thank you ladies enough for making my experience so fun and relaxing and stress free.

Overjoyed with my wedding dresses-I cannot wait to wear them. I arrived to a very warm welcome at the wedding shop and was served by Lucy, who was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Having to communicate with my sister who lives abroad, Lucy was amazing and happily helped us with the exchange of pictures and videos. I was spoilt for choice by a huge array of beautiful dresses of excellent quality to choose from. We found two stunning dresses that gave me the look I wanted; I was thorn which to choose. I took them both! One to marry and one glamorous for my wedding reception and reception abroad. What was more amazing, I received a discount for both my wedding dresses and veil. Visited yesterday with a friend and had a fantastic time with Gill. With there being less than 6 months to my wedding she was very knowledgeable about which dresses would actually be available and whilst that restricted my choice somewhat, as a plus size bride (size 28) there is a fantastic range of styles available, especially if you book far enough in advance. I said yes to my dress and I hope you do too!

Being a bigger bride, I was very nervous trying on dresses for my wedding. I booked my appointment with Gill, as soon as I stepped inside the shop Gill greeted me and my daughters, and made us feel very welcome, it was amazing that Gill knew what type of dress I might like, and before I knew it I had put my tags on other dresses to try on and had a fantastic variety of beautiful gowns waiting in the dressing room. Gill had her work cut out with me and my girls, but it never phased her. After several changes and re- dresses with Gills help we found 2 that looked amazing on me. I finally said yes to the dress the day after my first appointment. This was an amazing experience for me and my girls and would highly recommend Your Wedding Shop, the staff are wonderful and the shop is lovely, well laid out and very clean. Gill immediately made us feel so welcome and at ease. She really listened to how I felt about some of the initial dresses I tried on and from there, Gill picked out the perfect dress that we fell in love with! She really took care of us and put absolutely no pressure on us to buy. It was clear that she loves her job and cares about her clients! I would highly recommend The Wedding Shop for their excellent customer service and amazing selection of stunning dresses that are surprisingly affordable considering their high quality!

As father of the bride I was made welcome and included in the process. Gill was gracious and patient with an ability to grasp unspoken desires, she was able to bring my daughters anxiety level right down. She ended up with a dress that was perfect and at a price that left money in the budget for extras.

This shop is amazing. Couldn't recommend more highly. We arrived to a lovely greeting, and met with Chan who was to help us. Now being honest, not the biggest dress person, always awkward so I was feeling nervous and put of place on my way there. Chan made me feel so at ease so fast. She helped me find the perfect dress with a smile and a laugh along with it. I really felt like they all care. Everyone takes the time to remember you, talk to you and make as many helpful suggestions to make everything as easy as possible. There pricing is very good, they have a brilliant set of range for everyone in this climate which I thought was lovely as well as a very well stocked plus size section which was brilliant for someone like myself who struggles in general to find some both fitting and likable. What an amazing find. I travelled up very early from London to meet my daughter Marrion at the wedding shop. Lucy was there to welcome us My daughters had her heart set on finding the perfect Tea Length dress. The shop was so clearly laid out so Lucy directed us to a rail which only had Tea Lengths on. She left us to choose what was suitable to try on before taking us upstairs where she helped my daughter work her way through the selection she had picked. Nothing was too much trouble and even found time to make us a coffee. My daughter made fell in love with one dress but unfortunately it had a tiny mark on the front. After a discussion with Gill it was decided that the dress would be dry cleaned to see if the mark could be removed. Three days later we got a call to say the dress was back from the cleaners and perfect the mark was gone. We went back on Saturday morning to once again try on the dress and supported by Gill we left with my daughters dream dress. Thank you Gill and Lucy for the kind gift and for taking the time to make my daughters dream come true.
