Home Surveys are a relevantly new all encompassing term used to replace terms like 'Full Structural' or 'Building Survey' as they can be misused. The Home Survey will entail looking at all visible elements of a building and cannot replace additional inspections if found to be required. This 'pre-purchase' inspection is used to highlight defects which you can use to reduce the property price.
