The York Therapy Centre was opened in 1991 under the name of The Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy Centre York. It is recommended by doctors, health care professionals and therapists alike and has more than just the norm to offer! Its success went from strength to strength and it soon became popular in the local "York Evening Press" with quite unique cures to symptoms, to which the medical paternity had previously thought there was no cure! This lead to many Doctors and N. H. S GP's referring their patients to the Centre. Today the Centres success continues at its base in the heart of Yorkshire at Clifton Moor, York, and therapists continue there excellent work to find answers, cures and freedom to a massive range of symptoms, illness and pain for all who strive to be free.

We aim to be able to provide several therapy types at the centre, to ensure the best possible therapy is available for your particular symptoms and we may suggest using two or three types of therapy together in some circumstances. Fortunately, we are all different and react in different ways to therapy's - where as you may find a full and complete cure of tour symptoms quite quickly others may not take as long, where as others could take longer, but most of the time therapy's takes between just two, to twelve sessions or more.

All of the therapists who work with clients/patients at this centre have a least seven years experience in in their own specialist field, and are members of a least one professional association. They are bound by a code of practice and ethics which at this centre surpass most if not all professional association codes of practice and care.
