I have to say I am not too impressed with Yellowcom. For communication specialists there seems to be a great lack of internal communications and knowledge regarding data compliance and accuracy. They have called my home phone number several times to drum up business, a residential number on the TPS, always resulting in my disabled house mate having to struggle to answer either a short call that rings out before pick up or a silent call when she does make it in time. Having called them to get the number removed I was hung up on in the first instance, request for data supplier and removal from data ignored in the second instance, and again ignored regarding data supplier in the third instance. Dealing with them has actually cost me money in both time and calls. Wouldn't recommend them at all.
Response : This complaint has been investigated and i would like to point out the facts of the above review. Our dialler system called this number twice with no answer on both occasions. Mr King then called into our office and spoke to a colleague, Mr King was not hung up on but the phone line went dead. Mr King then called straight back in and spoke to the same colleague who tried to resolve Mr Kings query by emailing his line manager to request that his number is removed from the dialler. In error my colleague did not email his line manager but emailed himself.
We have investigated this and this unfortunate error is correct. Mr King was then rang a third time by the dialler as there was no answer on previous attempts. This call was not answered again and Mr King called in to complain as he was correctly under the impression that this had been resolved. It was then we realised the above email error had happened and the data was then removed. We have apologised profusely for this. Mr King has not been ignored on any occasion and my Office Manager has offered Mr King the cost of the calls he made to us as a good will gesture.Mr King has never been a customer of Yellowcom, my colleague made a simple error with the email and i feel this is extremely harsh to review my company this way.Moreexpand_more
