Fantastic place lovely service. I felt great after my Shave and facial. I would recommend Xanadu 1816 to any male that likes to look after their skin and themselves.

My name is Suliman Saleem, Ive tried many barbers and male groomers over the years. And all have failed to impress me and leave me feeling cared for and satisfied, except for Xanadu. Ive driven past the shop many many times and always wondered how their service is. Funnily enough I was talking with my uncle and saying how I would love to find a real male groomer who took their time and made me feel like a king. He recommended Xanadu and because I was having my civil ceremony the following day, I decided to take the plunge. As I walked in I was pleasantly greeted by Humera, she led me to the waiting area where Shabnam talked to me and made me feel at home. I have to say for a guy, its a strange feeling have a young woman not only cut my hair but use a cut-throat razor to line me up. But she was amazing, she actually listened to what I wanted and made helpful suggestions, not to mention friendly and genuinely interested in what I had to say. She took her time and paid attention to the little details as well as constantly asking if I was happy with her work so far. I also booked an Executive Shave with Shabnam. She took me upstairs to the treatment room, and began to give me which is no doubt the best, closest and most comfortable shave I have ever, and I mean ever had. She took so much care when shaving me it felt like she was merely running a finger over my skin. The pleasant background music helped to further relax me, I nearly fell asleep lol. Every barber I have been to always cuts me and I get horrible scabs and skin burn. With Shabnam I had nothing like that, not even a little nick and my skin felt so hydrated. She passed my shaving test with flying colours. Its strange that a woman can give me a better shave then any other guy has. I felt feeling amazing and like a million pounds. I called my uncle up immediately and told him everything. Hes planning on making an appointment too. Im not affiliated with Xanadu in any way apart from one. My name is Amjad Siddiqui, after reading reviews on Xanadu I felt that I had to write one. I have visited Xanadu in Bradford just once. I found them to be pleasant, friendly and moreover really knowledgable about hair. When I went in without an appointment, it wasnt a problem for them to accomodate me, they are always ready for me and they are all really warm and welcoming. I also wants to say thank you to Ms Humera (hair expert) she really made me very impressive for my interview. Thanks to Ms Humera and Ms Shabnam. Will definitely go again and highly recommend.

A fantastic place and in my opinion the best hair salon in Bradford. The establishment has wonderfully calm atmosphere and the attentive staff go out of their way to ensure they provide you with the best service. They actually take the time to listen to what you what, make polite suggestions when appropriate and always, always give me a fantastic cut. They retain a record of what you have had done which makes things easier the next time you go. I have also used the treatment rooms and always leave feeling fantastic. I have no affiliations with Xanadu. I have been going there shortly after it opened and just wanted to express my gratitude to the staff and convey to others what a great place it is. Highly recommended.

You're treated extremely well, and they take the time to understand what you want, and let you make decisions at every stage. I was a big fan of the pre-cut consultation, since it let me find the best hairstyle for me.

This is a superbly kitted out and smooth environment for relaxing and being pampered. No expense has been spared. The reception was warm and professional and puts you at ease. Staff are great, conversationally, and are attentive. I took my son and we both just had haircuts but the head massage (best I ever had) and back massage chair whilst having your hair washed was a real treat! I don't normally go for the extras, but I am left intrigued about some of the other treatments available such as the overall massage and facials (I can skip the full body wax! ). This is just what guys want. The haircut was not especially outstanding (it was good) but the whole experience is excellent. Recommended!

I went for a cut and wet shave. I have had wet shaves at various places in the UK and around the world. This was by far the best. It was very relaxing with a great result. I have already booked again and for further treatments.

This is a seriously slick outfit and really does deliver on it's promises. From arranging an appointment with the very helpful staff to being made comfortable and pampered like Kubla Khan himself, this was thoroughly an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and were able to speak in layman which is always important for a simpleton like me! The range of treatments were extensive as well as affordable. Fully recommend Xanadu and their services to anyone, you will not be disappointed!
