I have been suing Xamax for a year or two now and up until now I have been very happy with the service (albeit at times a little slow) and the products they have produced for my business. However this has all recently changed. On my latest order I received the polo shirts which now show a larger rectangular area around the print which is due to their 'new plates' used for printing. It now means the garment is unsightly and unfortunately no longer has a professional look to it. After speaking to Xamax they insisted that if I wash all of the garments this mark should wash out. I am yet to try this which I will do shortly. However this does mean that previously they were creating a product that looked great straight out of the box and could give to my team to wear straight away, I now have to sit and wash, and dry many multiples of items before they can in any way be used or supplied to my team. As a small business this is now incredibly inconvenient for me and I am very disappointed that they have let the quality of their products slip so much and in turn have created a much greater inconvenience for all of their customers. I hope that they will take steps to fix this issue and be able to once again supply us with then same high standard of product they once did without the added inconvenience to the customer. If they don't I will surely be looking for a new supplier. In the attached image on the left there is a shirt from one of my previous orders. This shirt has not yet been worn OR washed. On the right is one example of the new shirts with the very obvious mark around the text. Clearly this item cannot be used like this and will now require me to wash the entire order of shirts before I can even know wether the item will eventually be useable. UPDATE - After having to return the original order Xamax did eventually replace the shirts with a new order which look fantastic. So I am once again very pleased and have thus updated my review. It's just unfortunate that the first lot of shirts went out seemingly unchecked and that we had to go through this returns process. However, this is testament to their customer service and I will happily continue to use Xamax,.Moreexpand_more
Response : Thank you for taking the time to review us Dylan, and sincere apologies for the issue with your latest order. Your problem was extraordinary in that until we received the garments back, we believed this was a commonplace pressing mark that washes out rather than a rare damage. This is also how your workwear managed to escape our usual quality controls. We always recommend any and all clothing is washed before first use anyway, regardless of where it comes from - you never know what has been used in it's production.
We have looked into the causes of your particular issue and found a bed on the press used in customising your Polos had become faulty. This bed has been replaced and all other presses have been checked.Thank you also for taking the time to revisit your review with an update - we genuinely value our customers and pride ourselves on our customer service and product quality - we look forward to continuing to be your workwear & uniform provider.Moreexpand_more
