Snickers Workwear Limited was founded in Sweden in 1975, and since then has grown strongly so that today Snickers Workwear is one of Europe's leading brands in work wear and is represented in 15 countries. The Story: It all begins with a true story. Frustration and anger leads to an innovation, which in turn, creates a company. This is what makes Snickers so special, a true story from real life:
From 1959 to 1972 the founder of Snickers, Matti Viio, worked as an electrician - first building high tension lines and then installing domestic and industrial wiring. Technologically, a great deal happened in those years. Materials and tools evolved, as did the working methods.
One thing didn't change: work wear. They were still just the same as in the mid-nineteenth century. They may have been fine in those days, but after more than a hundred years people's needs and requirements had changed. Work wear failed to fulfill these modern requirements and were no longer considered practical or comfortable.
Manufacturers showed no interest in the "worker's" real needs. Several times Matti Viio suggested modifications, no one listened. In the end, he lost his temper and got angry as hell.
One day, I went home from work and designed my own garments to work in! That was my protest against the established workwear industry. I wanted to show that we workers have pride and know-how, and that our need of respect is the same as that of all other groups in society. (Matti Viio).
Today the spirit of Snickers Workwear is the same as it was when the company began. Snickers Workwear has always aimed and succeeded in solving functional problems for professional needs. A combination of professional know-how, pride and self-esteem has provided us with the successful product range we know and love today.

We make relevant functions on durable and reliable garments to fit the roughest conditions. All functions are tested by our end-customers. The Snickers Trousers now have angle phone pockets for better access.

I ordered some boots from Workwear. Unfortunately they were really uncomfortable - digging in at the top of my foot. Also the laces were nowhere near long enough to do up! I therefore wanted to send them back. Looking in the packaging there was no returns label or address - how strange! I therefore contacted the help desk on the website - I had to REQUEST to return something! Anyway, I did so, and they ACCEPTED that I could, providing me with what I needed. Great! Then I realised that there was no information about cost - surely I wouldn't have to pay to return the parcel? Who does that these days? I emailed the company again, and, give them credit they replied swiftly. No they do not pay for returns, and could I put a letter in, to tell them why I didn't want them! Seriously? - yes I should have read the terms and conditions carefully, but they should make them much more visible when ordering - you shouldn't have to hunt for something you are not expecting! Workwear you need to wise up and realise that other companies are operating in a much more up-to-date, customer-aware way. I will not be ordering from you again. .Moreexpand_more

Firstly ordered boots on line and paid to find following day boots ordered not available. Requested alternative and was sent wrong boots. Was advised that they would arrange collection and send correct boots of which never happened. E-mailed several times and got no response, finally spoke to someone who apologiesed for the situation and would rearrange collection - Stayed in all day again, and never happened! Really poor customer service, dont care attitude, only a single purchaser. Would never purchase anything from this company again.
