Ok, first things first so here’s my advice… based on the appalling experience I’ve had over the last four months with this retailer, my sincere advice is to not buy ANYTHING from wingmirrorman. Ever. And take my word for it, if you do, you’d better use Paypal. Because it’s otherwise likely you will lose all your money. I ordered a £30. 88 wing mirror indicator in May 2024. After it failed to show after six weeks, I cancelled the order, only for it to arrive a week later. The returns process took a ridiculous 5 months, endless calls, and massive hassle. When it became clear that the company had no intention of refunding me, I turned to Paypal who eventually reversed the payment. My final thoughts? Simply this. Steer well clear of wingmirrorman, unless you have a burning desire to test your fortitude, by putting yourself through the worst online shopping experience that you’re ever likely to endure. Consider yourself warned!

Their web page listed a wingmirror as being in-stock with a 3-5 days to have it pained in a colour of our choice. Sounded fine so we ordered it expecting to receive it in roughly a week. Two weeks went by so we phoned, and were told it was was not in-stock, they had not ordered anything so we confirmed we wanted a refund. Two days later there was no sign of a refund. We rang again and were told refunds take roughly a week. We couldn't understand this either. We waited and chased a week later. Finally an email was sent to confirm the cancellation of the order. Exactly one week after that the money was returned. Our time was completely wasted whilst they sat on the payment, seemingly to gain interest.Moreexpand_more

Ordered replacement wing mirror which was 'in stock' for express delivery. After a week I chased to be told it was not in stock and they had to order it. Over the next 6 weeks I was told on 6 occasions I would have it by x date or by the end of the week only to not receive it and have to chase again for an update. Eventually I had to order elsewhere as my MOT had expired whilst I had been waiting for the part to complete repairs. Did not refund P&P even though delivery was not attempted until 6 weeks after I had paid for the mirror to be delivered within 2 days.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. It seems that all the 1 star reviews are linked to refunds and the company not delivering. Ordered a part which was out of stock. They offered me a refund. Contacted them periodically to be mugged off and lied to and told refund was being processed and was being held by my bank. Obviously no such thing- they need to research into how banks work. EVENTUALLY got money back after 34 days after getting my bank involved and raising a dispute with them. Sarcastic and unhelpful members of the team. "Manager" Josh thinks it's good practice to condescend and patronise his customers, and Kirsty makes things up as she goes along and then denies she ever spoke with you (must have lots of Kirstys working in that department). If you do use this company and need a refund save yourself some time and just go through your bank as the company will not help you. Such a shame that this is my first Trust pilot review and it's so negative, however I cannot justify their complete lack of morals in processing refunds and working with customers as I feel that they just hope their customers will just give up. If I have swayed one person and saved them the ordeal of this company then this review has done its job. Have also reported to trading stands based on similar reviews on this site.Moreexpand_more

Excrecable! Horrible experience! Ordered a mirror(whole body), after 3 weeks of waiting they told me that they dont have it in stock. I ask for my money back(£168), they approved the refund, past 35days, my money still not in my account! There is no option left than go to Court. AVOID THIS COMPANY! IT'S A SCAM!

This is the Most dreadful company I have had the misfortune to deal with as emails get you nowhere and you can literally spend hours on the phone trying to get through but you will never speak to anyone. They have owed me a refund since January but-------Nothing and £48+ is a lot of money to an 83 year old pensioner. Any way the next time I am in the north visiting my relatives we will be in there with all guns blazing and hopefully it will be very soon now.

Please do not waste your time and money with this company. I ordered a wing mirror unit after being recommended this company by my local garage. I was told it had a 14 day lead time. It took just shy of a month to receive it. I had it fitted by my garage only to find that the wing mirror did not sit properly on the base. Even when fully turned in, I could not see any part of my car, making it unsafe and unfit for its purpose! My car is a Ford Ecosport and the garage told me that they had the exact same problem with a Toyota Avensis the week before and would no longer be recommending Wing Mirror Man to any more customers. They advised that I call the company immediately. The person I spoke to was rude, unhelpful and told me simply to send the product back and that I would need to cover the costs. They also told me that once returned, I could file a claim for the costs incurred to fit the product. The garage did not charge me to remove the product and I sent it back the following day. I ordered a genuine part via Ford which arrived within 24 hours and had to pay again to have the product fitted. After receiving my refund I enquired about the claim for the £84 I paid to have their product fitted. I have been told that the amount I paid is an “expected charge” and that they will only cover the costs to have the product removed. They have failed to acknowledge that I have had to pay this charge twice, due to their shoddy product. I have been advised to check the warranty which I have never received and surprise surprise when you search for it on their website, you are met with a blank screen. I have now handed this over to a solicitor as Buy it Online Ltd have told me they will not deal with this any further. Myself and the garage will be warning everyone of this company.Moreexpand_more

Sent me the wrong item, then passed me from pillar to post when I wanted to get the correct one instead. Don't answer phone calls, inaccurate information in live chat, don't care about fixing their mistakes. Avoid.

Awful, shocking customer service, also be aware I strongly believe their trustpilot reviews are done internally.

BE AWARE AND AVOID AGGRAVATION ! This company can be an absolute pain in the rectum, my heartfelt wish is that you do not experience their extremely bad customer service if and when you have to contact them about any bought faulty goods. They are quick to take your money but when it comes down to getting a reimbursement, for said faulty goods, I recommend you do not hold your breath. The palaver you have to go through is like the proverbial pulling of hens teeth and then you get bull poo from their operatives when you attempt to try and resolve your issue. You will probably be put through to the obnoxious twerp who will attempt to block any conversation on any returns, he does this by misquoting the General Data Protection Regulations. You have already identified your self by giving them your ID number, invoice number and returns number but the twerp explains that he would be breaking the law if he was to discuss your problem. If you deal with any major reputable internet vendor, once you have identified yourself, they will discuss and help you with all aspects of a problem, with no addle brained messing about. I feel that, based on my experience, this company should be renamed Whinge Mirror Man, because the only way you can get any sort of response from the company is to keep on whinging at them. If you succeed and manage to secure a reimbursement ( this can take a long time) you will find they will have deducted their cost of the postage from your entitlement, what a penny pinching bunch of reprobates. You Have Been Warned and hopefully you will avoid what happened to me and unfortunately a lot of other customers, check out all the possible internet review sites on line for a more comprehensive evaluation of this companies lack of good customer service or even just a regular customer service.Moreexpand_more

Appalling! Avoid at all costs. Sent the wrong mirror - passenger instead of drivers side. Ignored initial email I sent with photos. Called up got a rather rude response - telling me I should not expect a reply quickly and I should use their return process. Submitted a return request, several days passed no reply, chased up, I was then issued a return number. Sent return back, waited close to 2 weeks no action. Chased up again they issued a refund of just £12 of a £20 transaction! Queried it, reply simply stated I had been refunded - no explanation. Queried again, redirected to another department, raised again, received a reply saying deductions were made for postage and processing (note: the reason for return was their fault - not mine) I then raised a PayPal dispute which they settled (in full) after a few more days when I pointed out their deductions were in breach of the law. This company seems to make it as hard a possible to get a refund and then makes illegal deductions for processing and the initial postage charge. I only got my money back because I am a persistent little so and so. Note: The Consumer Goods Act 2015 entitles you to a FULL refund where the seller is at fault.Moreexpand_more

They advertised a part as being suitable for my car model but when it arrived it did not fit and they refused to refund me! Do not use this company! Complete rip off.

Fraudsters. Look around the internet at places like trustpilot to see how bad these guys are. Caught them out lying but took a long time to get money back through credit card company as they were very dishonest and I needed to prove they were lying to eventually get a refund.

I would advise anyone to steer well clear of this company as they are the worst I have ever dealt with online. I purchased a complete wing mirror unit which turned out that the indicator light didn't work (after paying a garage to fit it) so I promptly returned for a refund. They didn't acknowledge they had received the faulty item back, I had to phone several times until they finally said they would be refunding me by CHEQUE when I paid by card. This never turned up, so I phoned again and again. Was given lie after lie about their card machines being down and they would send another cheque out which again never turned up. I was also given a tracking number for something that had already been delivered months ago! After several more phone calls they said they would actually refund my card and did it while I was on the phone and gave me some bogus auth code - the money still never showed up. Finally received a cheque TWO MONTHS after purchase and got my money back after even more calls and prodding. Wouldn't have minded if they had said they cant refund immediately or something, but the constant lying and fobbing off was just disgusting.Moreexpand_more

I agree with the other 1* rating they are not a good company. I ordered and paid over £60. 00 for a door mirror unit from Ace Car Parts Ltd. The mirror unit and cover did not and could not fit together as they were different sizes, this was verified by a qualified mechanic who was going to fit the unit. Please read their terms and conditions of refunds before buying from them…. I wish I had!

This company are absolutely awful in every way! I ordered a part and the part that arrived was completely wrong. After a promised refund, I returned the part but they have never acknowledged this and have not processed any refund. I am only awarding one star in each category because I cannot process a review with no stars. Avoid these people at all costs.
