Wilson installed our boiler and left us with a water hammer problem. Loud, banging pipes whenever a tap is closed. Unbearable when the washing machine is on. Wilson stated it wasn’t their problem and even ‘advised’ us to learn to turn our taps off gently! Try telling the washing machine that. They have installed a shock arrestor that has failed 3 times within a maximum of 2 days. Now they simply ignore our requests to rectify the issue. Numerous phone calls to the receptionist and numerous excuses. We never get the promised return call. Wilson have decided they can’t deal with the problem after failing 3 times already, leaving us in limbo with a situation that is likely to get very messy and expensive if not dealt with asap. They highlight customer care on their website, well here’s one customer who is far from happy.Moreexpand_more
Response : We have addressed your concerns directly in our previous communications. We are sorry that you are experiencing issues. These problems are related to your existing system pipework and not the new boiler or our installation. Since May, we have visited your property four times at no additional cost to you. We renewed you shoch arrestor and clipped existing accessible pipework. In July, we proposed a solution to rectify the issues by lifting carpets and floorboards to address the pipework. However, you chose not to proceed with this proposal.
Unfortunately, you have reached out to us during our busiest period, and we have been unable to schedule the necessary work within a timeframe that meets your expectations. We regret that we have been unable to assist you further at this time.Moreexpand_more
