I set up a monthly direct debit in June 2021, but my bins were never cleaned. Apparently, they refused to clean our bins because of a perceived incident but instead of letting me know, they just continued to take my money for 5 months. Only when I got in touch with them did I get a rather aggressive phone call to let me know that they didn't want my business. I have never been treated like that before by any business!
Have used WF for around 8 years, yes they are cheap but there have been instance's when our green bin wasn't put out so they would give our blue bin a splash of water NOT a proper clean. In the last 12 weeks our bin was out twice but cleaned once, tonight they came for payment £7 50 ? I told the driver it had been cleaned once. He growled at me keep your money and sped away in his van. Not very professional but after reading the reviews it seems par for the course.
This is the truth and don't start your usual denying everything as you do with every other negative review you receive because you obviously do not like being proved wrong or anyone questioning you. My wife and 7 year old daughter was standing on our doorstep waiting for the ice cream van and you approached them saying you have cleaned our bins for 13 years without payment. You then accused her of cancelling the standing order. We have NEVER had a standing order with Wilson/Forrester and 20 years ago we paid you cash and you put a reminder through our door if you missed us. You then stopped coming for money and no reminders or visits so we assumed you stopped doing it. We have never seen you clean our bin on our drive as we go to work and come home. A business that does not know who their customers are or who pays? How does that work? And you have only just noticed…After 13 years? You then come to someone's door, and instead of asking another man to talk to you, you then start getting verbally aggressive and posturing to my wife and child to the point she shouts on me. She even tried to reason with you and show you evidence to prove that we never cancelled our standing order that we never had in the first place. You then on my drive start the same aggression with me like you were looking for a fight and telling my wife " To get back inside the fcuking house". What kind of business are you? What kind of man are you? Everytime the door goes now my 7 year old says " is that the bad binman back". No decent man that was brought up to respect women and children would behave that way towards them and going by other reviews on here and on the Dulloch billboard this is your normal behaviour you think is acceptable…. Using anger and aggression to get your way because you don't know any better. No doubt you will deny it. You crossed the line coming to my door demanding money for a service we never had a deal set up for. We can prove we had no standing order set up ever so we owe you nothing. Don't you ever come to my door again because you came looking for trouble and my wife could have been on her own. I really hope I have made myself clear. Involve your solicitor but we will prove we had no contract and you got it wrong threatening my family.Moreexpand_more
I write this in the context of having been a customer for 20 years, but have just had an experience with WF Cleanbin which has resulted in me terminating the relationship. I find it flabbergasting as had generally been satisfied before. However having read some of the themes of those negative comments in this site, todays experience has mirrored closely with some customer comments below. That is if you phone to challenge service, there is a reaction from WF which is poor and aggressive. We had used WF to clean the brown/blue and green bins. There have been a few occasions where our green bin had not been obviously cleaned though I accept this could have been because we had brought in too early on occasions. Today, my wife thought she had already seen the WF van having been in where we live, but the green bin had not been cleaned. She phoned up to enquire, and was given an aggressive response. WF phoned back my wife to say that she had insulted him. She had not phoned aggressively, and had simply sought to enquire if the green bin was to be cleaned. While I was in another room, my daughter alerted me as she was concerned that a man was being aggressive to my wife on the phone. I could then hear for myself. It was clear what he was alleging she had insulted him by enquiring about the bin, and the attitude was if we dont like it to cancel our standing order. This is disappointing as this should have been a situation easily dealt with, where a minor customer enquiry turned into a phone rage, which from what all I can see was fully instigated by WF. I then took the phone and gave my view that this response was unacceptable, pointing out that is disappointing where a 20 year customer is given an aggressive attitude simply by raising a question about service. I got an aggressively toned response, to which I then said ok your sacked. Standing order cancelled and will never be renewed. Afterwards I thought perhaps WF may have been stressed due to Covid etc, but I read the comments on here, from time back and see similar themes.Moreexpand_more
It is now more than two years since I left a review for this firm. Their staff are well trained and friendly. Their excellent service continues and our bins are always left clean and fresh. In the last year we have added two more bins to their cleaning round. Some of our neighbours also use this firm. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work guys!
These guys had been doing our bins for years but hadn’t for 2 bin collections so we got in touch to tell them. Resulted in them refusing to clean our bins anymore and trying to blame us for not leaving the bins out. The bins are left on the street the whole day on bin day until after 6pm and we saw the company in the street that day but they missed our bin. Don’t really know what the guy’s problem is but apparently they can never be wrong and you always are because he’s “cleaned bins for 30 years” so that makes him immune to ever making an oversight? Until tomorrow day we genuinely had never had a problem with the service and don’t really understand his attitude problem towards us raising a problem. Terrible customer service. So now we’ve paid them for nothing for 2 bin collections, aren’t getting our bins cleaned this week or ever again because he doesn’t want us as customers anymore. Crazy!
We have used Wilson Forrester Cleanbin for many years simply because their service and value for money are first class. If there is any muck left in the bins when they are emptied, these guys get rid of that before thoroughly washing them. I added another bin to their rounds this week that they had not cleaned before. It was filthy, but after one wash looks almost brand new. Highly recommended and I know that several of my neighbours who use the service would agree.
I called this company to A. Find out about their services and B. Arrange for my bin to get cleaned. The person on the phone was sadly very rude, they somehow expected me to know all the details I wanted help with. I was told quite rudely that they don't do one off cleans and when I enquired about the minimum length of service I had to sign up for, I was told it was 1 year, when I asked if I needed to sign a contract, I was told quite rudely and I quote "it's obvious you are not interested in having your bins cleaned on a regular basis" and the line went dead as the phone was dropped on me. It's amazing how someone providing a service can be so rude on their first contact with a potentially new customer, first impressions count a great deal, I'm unimpressed and will definitely be taking my business elsewhere seeing as this company has no idea what customer service entails. I shall not even deign to rate this service, they put me off with their rudeness on the phone.
This man is absolutely rude can't take feedback and said he could not care about my feedback ! LOL his web says if you don't give good review it will be removed OMG!
I have been with Wilson Forrester Cleanbin for the past 10yrs & i think there service is the best i have ever had. All workers are easy going & very friendly. Brilliant Service! Good value for money, over the past years the price has not went up to any dramatic pace. And i will continue to use the service in the see-able future! Recommend to all!
I have received years of excellent service from Wilson Forrester cleanbin. The service provided is invaluable as it keeps my bins clean and prevents fly and maggot infestation. This has been particularly helpful since the bin emptying days have changed to fortnightly in the last year. The job they perform exceeds itself during the summer months when these kind of infestations are more common and can cause illness. Customer service is great and staff are always polite and friendly. The price increases have been minimal in comparison toalternative bin cleaning companies and other domestic services. Overall I am very pleased with the service they provide and will continue to be a customer. Well done and keep up the good work. A+.
