I have moved to 3 countries in the last 4 years. Each time my company has paid, however on this occasion I chose my own service due to bad experiences. Totally awesome service from tart to finish provided by the team. The movers were fantastic and the back office kept me up to date at all times. Best moving service ever.
Two guys and their van rocked up on time. Just got on with the job, were done super quick and were flexible. Packaged up some items I couldn't pack, protected mattresses and art work. Handled my stuff with care! Cannot recommend enough! Next house move, definitely using them again!
We seem to have chosen to move in the most difficult time for International moving during Covid and I sure am glad we went with the Williams and Yates movers. Firstly, we were kept up to date with the delays caused due to shipping issues that were also widely reported in the news and online at the time. Secondly, the moving people were great from start to finish, prompt efficient and most importantly careful with our belongings. Everything arrived safe and sound at our new property in California so a big thank yous all around.
Movers lost a box, forgot another box and a suitcase during the move, which luckily were found and handed over to concierge. When moving an artwork, they damages floors, one of the movers had a bleeding and got blood on sofa and all over the floor. Movers suggested we go to new house to oversee the move and they stay in old property and lock it - it turned out movers left all windows wide open and lights on. And to top it all up, when moving a large sofa through stairs, movers damages stairwell ceiling and walls from floor 6 to ground floor, got stuck with sofa at ground floor and then came with a waiver to be signed. Not mentioning the extensive damage caused prior to having us sign the waiver under duress. William and Yates refused to cover the damages they caused and did not disclose prior to having us sign the waiver, since the waiver was signed. After negative review posted online W&Y manager said they'd cover the damages but changed his mind the moment they got the quote.
