HETAS - Heating Equipment and Testing Approva...Installing a wood burning stove needs to be considered very carefully in order to make the the right choice, there are changes being made and due to come into government legislation in 2022, after this date all stoves sold and installed must meet the new regulations under ECO DESIGN READY, most reputable stove manufacturers are ahead of this and are already manufacturing and selling 2022 compliant appliances although older stoves that do not meet the new regulations are still available and can still be fitted it makes more sense to consider an ECO DESIGN READY appliance both from an environmental point of view but also from a forward planning reason should you decide to sell your property in the future.
