Neil and his team carried out some work to refit doors in our house, and sort out a fireplace after an old gas fire had been removed. Really pleased with the result, good communication with Neil in advance, great work on the day and very reasonable cost. Would highly recommend.

However, when Neil came over he talked me through my options, provided new ideas and gave me a fair and cost effective quote. Neil has been excellent at carrying out a range of work for me, from a large and amazing loft conversion, to a range of smaller jobs. The team are excellent, totally focused on getting the job done well, efficiently and on time, with a practical can do attitude to any unexpected circumstances… a total joy to work with, I would happily tackle more building projects with Neil and his team.

Neil has worked for me before a few years ago and I was very pleased with the work, hence I had no hesitation in asking him to do some more work for me. Unfortunately the experience this time was awful - no control or coordination of the various trades, delays and some parts of the job left unfinished. The quality control was also extremely poor - nobody seemed to take responsibility for this. I was left with lots of snagging issues that I had to resolve separately at my expense.

Neil and his team replaced all my downstairs doors and facings. It’s an old Victorian house and unsurprisingly we found a few additional issues along the way! Neil had a very pragmatic no panic approach keeping me informed all the way through. I was so pleased with the work I asked him to replace my kitchen which I am absolutely delighted with.

Cannot recommend Neil enough. Intuitive, resourceful, patient and beyond skilled. I could not recommend him and his team enough. Neil is the best.

At every stage of the process over the past week, Neil Jordan and his great team turned a hideous prospect (after our bathroom was flooded from the flat above) into a smoothly organised project with excellent communication and a lovely outcome at a good price. West End Builders are efficient and highly professional, but they are also considerate and reassuring, with as much care taken over the clean-up (brilliant) as in the high quality execution of the building work. I contacted West End Builders with a view to having my loft converted into a usable space, after reading the many positive reviews they had received. I certainly made the right decision in choosing this company to proceed with the work. From day one, I was impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. Neil and his team arrived punctually every day and worked solidly until late on in the afternoon. I am delighted with the end result and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending West End Builders.

We had our dining room wall knocked down to make an open plan kitchen diner. The kitchen was fitted, new French doors done, new window, doors and flooring throughout our home. We are delighted with the standard of work and would happily recommend West End Builders to others. We will be using them again for loft conversion and bathroom fitting.

Neil and his team converted our basement, including plasterboarding the walls and ceilings, door frames and skirting, skimming ready for painting, laying wooden floor, etc. Neil project managed the electrician and plumber so that the whole basement was completed as one job. Throughout he and his team were reliable, punctual and trust-worthy. They took care to leave the place neat and clean throughout. They were very helpful and tolerated my changes of mind! One of the best things was that I knew exactly how much the job would cost up front - Neil provided prompt costs for additional work as we went along do that I could make decisions easily about what to do. The job was completed on time and I am delighted with the end result. I would highly recommend West End Builders and am planning to use them again. Many thanks Neil.

I met Neil at a builders yard. I was trying to have wood cut to size. Unfortunately this wasn't possible. Neil came to my aid, clearly seeing how upset I was he offered to cut the wood for me. I was very taken by his caring nature and generosity. Neil refused to take any money. I believe that by hiring Neil you would be getting a very conscientious and trustworthy person. I will certainly be keeping him in mind for any future work. Thank you.

Neil laid a floor for me. Despite the challenges presented by the layout of the room and the quality of the material, he carried out the work without any complaint or comment. I found him to be conscientious in his approach to the job, which was completed to a superb standard. I am highly delighted with the finish, and cannot recommend Neil highly enough. I have further work planned for the near future, and I am safe in the knowledge that I have a reliable tradesman to call upon. As a footnote: Neil is 'old school' in his approach to his work… that is, he clears up after he is finished. Definitely no mess for you to clear up.

Very good prices. Excellent quality work carried out by Neil a couple of times for various joinery work needed around my flat. Needed doors trimmed down, blinds put up, shelf built, seals put on bath. Very professional work. Can be confident work is carried out efficiently and no mess left.

Highly recommend! Had a loft space upgraded to a usable space with new windows, insulation etc. I have three young kids one of whom is disabled, the upheaval was kept to a minimum and the house was left clean and tidy. They were not the cheapest quote I had (just a little over the lower of three) but I chose them as they came across the most professional, honest and helpful, just nice guys. Work was to a high standard, very impressed and have asked them to do other work around the house. Actually the new loft space has exceeded my expectations of what I had visioned Excellant value for money, so happy with the work done.

I was looking for a reasonable joiner with good quality workmanship, this is the first time I have used Neil and John and can assure they come very highly recommended. I will certainly use their skills again. Nothing was a problem. Cleaned up after every job, these guys are well worth the money and having a good job well done, thanks guys jim.

I'd contacted Neil after reading the excellent reviews from other customers and am now pleased to leave similar comments. West End Builders removed and replaced my water damaged bedroom ceiling. The job was carried out promptly, to a high standard and for a very competitive price. I will definitely use again and highly recommend.
