I have nothing but praise for the service provided by Waters and sons, especially the wonderful Charlie. From the moment I walked into their Aldermoor shop I felt nothing but a caring and respectful organisation. My wife, Catherine, passed suddenly so even visiting a funeral directors was not something I had ever prepared for. Charlie basically sorted everything for me and nothing was too small a request. I honestly felt Catherine, myself and our son were in the best of hands. Charlie was literally available 24 hours a day if needed and was more than happy to answer all our questions. Truly grateful . Waters and Sons are Funeral Directors whom I used for my Late Wife who died in Southampton General Hospital where she was fighting cancer. I would say all the people I personally dealt with were fantastic and couldn't be more helpful. They were there when needed and not when you needed time for yourself. The whole of the Service was handled with empathy and very respectful in all aspects. My only wish would have been if it was for someone else.

I'd like to thank Waters and Sons for their outstanding service in arranging my father's funeral. They provided a very professional, compassionate and caring service throughout the arrangements and on the day of the funeral. Simon and David gently guided us through the entire process and provided many excellent recommendations. Throughout, they were extremely helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. Simon and David were considerate of the Chinese culture. Thanks to their help, we were able to give our father a very dignified and bespoke funeral. I'd highly recommend Waters and Sons! .

Waters and Sons were amazing when our dad passed away. From the moment we got in contact with them to a beautiful service. They provided such a personal service to us through a really tough time. A special mention to David who was such a pillar of strength and has been there to answer questions and make sure my mum was taken care of. We couldn't recommend them more. My whole family can't thank waters&son enough for the care and respect they showed for our mum and nan violet pearl hickman, they were exceptional in every way and the service was absolutely beautiful, they let me know step by step what would be happening on the day, they really did my mother proud and as a family we would highly recommend waters &sons.

It has taken me a while to find the right words and the strength to write this review. I have nothing but thanks and praise to Waters and Sons for helping me get through the worst time of my life. From my very first telephone call with Alison I knew they were going to be the best people to give my beautiful Mum the perfect send off she deserved. Following a bad experience with a funeral director in the past I was very nervous about trusting someone to care for the most important person in my life. I need not have worried though as they are all so understanding, caring and sympathetic and really do care. When they say ‘our family caring for your family’ they really do mean it. The ladies made my mum look so beautiful and perfect for me to visit her in the chapel of rest and I found these visits very comforting. David, Alison, Jason and all of the staff were very kind and made it possible for me to visit my mum whenever I wished to. David is such a lovely gentleman and he is perfect for the occupation he has chosen. From the moment I met him I instantly felt comfortable and at ease with him and my mum would have loved him also. The day of the funeral was such a difficult day but David and his team were amazing. Liza, the celebrant, read such a lovely tribute and took care of everything in the chapel. When David said he had the perfect celebrant for my mum, he was definitely right. I could go on and on about how brilliant and accommodating they all are. We would like to thank Waters and Sons for their excellent services on the passing of our dear Mum. We received a first class service throughout the arrangements and on the day itself. Everyone was very professional and helpful and we know that we gave Mum a dignified send off. We would have no hesitation in recommending Waters and Sons to take care of your loved ones.

Waters and Sons provided a complete, caring and sympathetic service right from the beginning, when David came to collect my mum. Simon and Alison were very helpful, considerate, informative and efficient. They all made the process more bearable and helped whenever they could. We would definitely recommend them.

Having to call on the services of Waters and Sons to arrange the funeral of my late husband I want to write how excellent I found this family business. First, I feel like I was treated with compassion. My local branch at Aldemoor where Tracy was my helper at this sad time. She went that extra mile to ensure I had all I wanted for my husband, efficiently to make it perfect. All the stress removed from me. She is excellent at her job and my son and I felt so at ease as she guided us through the procedures needed. On the day of the funeral, she was there to offer us support and care and tissues! A valued member of your family business. Having too, met other family members, they are again so kind and compassionate. The overall cost too were exceptionally good value. Having used Waters and Sons several years ago for my father's funeral I needed them for my husband's. Their standards faultless and I will recommend this family business to anyone. 10/10. What can I say when life brings us such sadness and we have to face the terribke fact we ha e to arrange a loved ones funeral. I was recomended to visit Waters and sons Spring Rd Southampton well what a great supportive company notjong was too much trouble I felt they gave us all the support we needed nothong tok much trouble. Rebecca made us feel welcome and whatever we wanted we got. I would just like to express my sinsere best wished to a great hroup of people and I cant thank you enough for giving our loved one the best ever send off x.

I can't recommend Waters and Sons highly enough. They were so caring, kind and provided a lovely dignified service. The recommendations for the celebrant and florist were excellent. The help, advice and time spent discussing arrangements made such a sad time so much easier. All the people involved deserve more than the 5 stars I can give.

Waters and Sons were always polite and professional. They dealt with my queries and were friendly and respectful throughout. They are reasonably priced and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My family and I have been dealing with Waters and Sons Aldermoor Branch since my Dad passed away in March 2020. The staff have been efficient, kind, considerate and extremely supportive, especially as we've had to deal with everything during the pandemic. We can't recommend them highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to use them again (although hopefully that won't happen for a long time yet! ). Thank you to everyone concerned.

We came back to Waters' after the service given when we lost our mum 2 years ago. The team worked very hard on this occasion, to provide a bespoke funeral, with some unusual requests, for my dad. All this during lock down. They went above and beyond with reduced staffing.

My father died suddenly in November and when I contacted Simon at Waters and Sons, I didn't have a clue what to do but Simon, Alison and Shana gently guided me through the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always someone at the end of the phone to answer my random questions. I didn't really know what kind of funeral I wanted but they listened to my thoughts and gave me lots of ideas. On the day of the funeral, we said goodbye to my father exactly how he would have wanted us to thanks to Simon and his team.
