About Watatunga Wildlife Reserve
If you are looking for something truly unique to do, then why not visit Watatunga, an award-winning wildlife reserve based near King’s Lynn, West Norfolk. Our passion is protecting near extinct species, and we are particularly dedicated to the conservation of endangered deer, antelope and birds.
Our stunning wildlife reserve covers over 170 acres of woodland, grassland, wetlands and lakes, making it the ideal habitat for all of our endangered animals, in which to thrive and call home. We don’t believe in cages and pens, meaning our animals roam freely – allowing you to view them as naturally and authentically as possible.
Watatunga offers our visitors an exciting and unique way of going on safari, by giving you the opportunity of seeing the animals via your own electric buggy. This interactive and immersive way of experiencing the wildlife reserve, allows you to get up close and personal with the animals in their natural environment.
You will have your own self-drive buggy, which you will drive in convoy with our other guests. Leading the front of the tour will be one of our expert guides, who is radio linked to all buggies, and will bring the reserve to life, with stories and information about our rare inhabitants.
As well as our popular and quirky safari tours, we also offer luxury accommodation on site – giving guests the opportunity to turn their safari tour into a magical and unique staycation.
With educational activities and Forest Schools also available, there really is something for everyone at Watatunga. If you would like to book a tour or find out more about what we do at Watatunga, please get in touch.0 FreeIndex Reviews
