VIS replaced my hard disk, he understood the problem and resolved it very quickly.

Andy upgraded my 27 inch 2017 iMac Retina 5K by replacing the original tiny "Fusion" 32GB SSD with the OWC 2TB NVMe SSD ; and cloned my internal SSD to the new NVMe SSD. I dropped my iMac off one morning and picked it up the next. My iMac ran perfectly on its first startup, and the new NMVe drive has super-fast speeds of over 3000 Mbps (both Read and Write). Andy is the consummate, knowledgable professional, is extremely well organised and his work is of the highest standard. His labour rate was very reasonable also. I thoroughly recommend using Andy for any Mac related problems or upgrades.

V. I. S. Has repaired two of my Macs: a 2012 Mini and late-2013 MacBook Pro with 15-inch Retina display. Andy saved me the cost of a new logic board by repairing the Mini's original logic board with a new connector, installed a new SSD, and updated the OS. A little over a year later, when my Macbook Pro needed a new battery, I didn't hesitate to bring it to Andy. He cleaned out the fans and internal parts on both machines, allowing them to perform at their best. V. I. S. Performed excellent work on both Macs at a very reasonable cost, and delivered them when promised, with no surprises. I highly recommend their service.

This is the second time that VIS has replaced the CD drive in a MacBook Pro with an SSD drive along with exchanging the main drive for an SSD, upgrading the operating system and also the ram to 16GB. I should add that I have two MacBooks which are now clones of each other. Complete faith in Andy to do an expert job which he has done on both occasions. If I need further work on my Macs Andy at VIS would be my first port of call. Highly recommended.

I first used Andy a few years ago when he was recommended to me by the Apple store in Reading when I had a problem with the video card in my 2011 iMac. More recently he as upgraded my hard drive to an ssd. All work was carried out quickly and to a high standard and at a reasonable cost. VIS were brilliant and very helpful at being able to advise correctly on how best to achieve what I needed, in the way of repairs to my MacBook. With an unexpected additional issue which arose when examining the laptop, they did all they could to rectify this also and get all documents recovered and give me back a fully working laptop again. I also had a desktop I MAC worked on by VIS a few years ago and again it enabled us to lengthen the lifespan of the computer and still works perfectly!
