I feel very fortunate that I found, and used Video99 for my Hi8 video tape transfer to usb stick. Colin is superb at communication, and the resultant "video" on usb stick is excellent. Good quality picture and sound. The tape had been stored indoors, since 1993. I got rid of the camera, and then had no way of playing the tape, so it got forgotten about. I also had a DVD made at the same time to enable some of my friends to view the recording, (those without means to watch a usb stick). I was so impressed I have recommended video99 to others , who I know are particular about their video recordings.

Highly recommended! Colin's service was fantastic - great communication throughout, incredibly quick turnaround and excellent value for money. The tapes were of huge sentimental value but I felt very reassured that they were in safe hands and the transfers were perfect.

Excellent service - I have used it twice already to transfer my old tapes to digital media. Colin’s attention to detail and care is outstanding. I can’t recommend this enough.

I sent off 3 MII tapes to Colin to digitise. Its a pretty rare format and these are original Masters which I was nervous about sending off. The service was amazing, Colin was great with the communications, it wasn't a very straight forward job but he kept going until he got a good result. I got great quality mp4 and AVI files back and the quality of the files was amazing … It was great to see these files after 30 years. It was a great price as well. The service is really good … I confess I was slightly nervous because Video99's website is not the prettiest or most up to date but they obviously spend their money on maintaining their tech not the advertising. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic service and the video came back really well even though it was badly damaged. Colin worked hard to get it to play properly and did a great job. Incredibly quick. Had it back within 2 days and great value for money.

Well worth the money and all done so really quick He repaired an old vhs tape with my dad on who had passed away and we got to see him again and hear his voice it's priceless Thank you so much colin.

I had a more than 40 year old recording in a Umatic-S cassette tape and little hope of recovering this childhood memory, but Colin saved the day with a very efficient and speedy service. Communication was very clear and straightforward and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I had a Video8 tape which had snapped and the casing was damaged on the tape itself.
