Good value and mostly satisfied except for toilet flush which needs replacing BUT yet another non contactable company. No telephone number and so I sent an email to one of the addresses shown to be available but it bounced back, I tried the 2nd email address, it bounced back and finally the 3rd address and yet again non- existent. I only wanted to discuss what we needed to rectify the problem for goodness sake. Thing is, when you go to the showroom the assistants are all sitting looking at their laptops, I can’t think why when no one can email them? .
Victoria Plumbing LTD is one of the worst companies in which I have ever dealt with. They do not have a contact number so if you purchase from them and have any issues you have to contact them via a web chat for them to contact the resolutions team (who by the way do not work weekends) - so if you have a problem on a Friday, you wont get a response for until at least Monday. I have spoken with 6 separate operatives:Pete Seddon. Neve Doran. James Lyons Rebecca Pickering. Melissa Gaskell. Tilly Stevenson. I contacted them on the 12th November - now it is the 23rd November and still no replacements of the FAULTY and NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE goods. I have explained to this wonderful company that I am left with no toilet due to their faulty goods and now shower yet again down to their faulty goods. P. S I'm 16 weeks pregnant - I have also told them this. I have no toilet facilities - no showering facilities! I am having to use the neighbours. THEY DO NOT CARE! They have told me that an item has been sent out - they said this last week then it didn't show up so I chased them again and they said it would be here yesterday/today. Still not here! They lie and they breach consumer act! P. S They made over 21 million profit last year but cant replace some faulty items. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I puchased a concealed cistern XTY005 for a new bathroom. They are still listing them in stock separately and in combinarion with various wall-hung toilet pans. Turns out this item has not been made for a number of years and the munfactirer has no spare parts and cannot support the 5 year warranty. Ours is 12 months old and started running continuously after flushing. I approached the manufacturer for warranty support and was told that they only have a few spare parts left (and sent me a replacement siphon which didn't 100% solve the problem, though it is better). They told me this unit has not been manufactured in years and any stock held by suppliers is old stock. They suggested I approach Victorian Plumbing for support as they still have stock so that they can supply a replacement under warranty. That way I could replace parts and return the system with the faulty parts. The manufacturer's only other option would be to supply a different system which would mean ripping out the wetwall in a new bathroom. After weeks of telephone and email correspondence with Victorian Plumbing I am no further forward. They keep promising to help but never actually do anything. Really not impressed at all. A concealed system looks great when it works but is a pain when you have issues. On balance I would not recommend any concealed system unless an easy access door is built into the wall for potential replacement.Moreexpand_more
I am sorry to say that these people are terrible and you should shop elsewhere. I bought a tap. It arrived in a box that had already been opened and was taped up. The tap had been partially assembled and broken, presumably by a previous customer. When you try to contact this company to resolve the problem you can't even get to speak to someone. They couldn't be worse. Choose another company.
Awful quality bath panel and sink unit. After complaining, the ‘resolution team’ told me I needed to keep the window open every time the bathroom was used. This apparently would have prevented everything from blistering after less than a year of it all being installed. Avoid this company: their goods are poor which they then deflect as ‘manufacturer's issues’ and the customer service is an absolute joke.
Bought a groha toilet £450 plus but the plumber could not fit it due to faulty close couple bolt kit faulty, despite 3 phone to victoria plum promising to send them out and phone me back this didn't happen , i was told to phone groha , and thats is the quality of victoria plumbs service , terrible , so I phoned groha and orderd a new fixing kit, to be told delivery date 19th may I said thats no good so now got a new date 5th may , in the meantime had to move out of our bungalow to our daughter due to having no toilet , having just had leg surgery and being in a plaster cadt I find it very difficult getting upstairs at our daughters, as we live in a bungalow , i will not be buying or recommending victoria plum to anyone neither will the plumber , a shocking aftersales service and not interested in your complaint so beware before you place an order you have been warned.
**beware** overpriced, faulty, poor customer service, don’t keep their promises. We ordered a tall 6ft bathroom cabinet and side of the bath. We found similar items on different website for about £200+ cheaper but went with Victorian Plumbing as we preferred the colour shade and thought it would mean better quality. Our order was about £550 … Both items turned up damaged. It’s also kerbside delivery/pick up so we only found out the damage when we’d lugged a 6ft cabinet up the stairs. We complained and they booked a pick up and replacement… We had to lug the cabinet to the kerbside again. For the pickup a DPD driver arrived looking totally bewildered because he only takes day to say type parcels… Again had to lug the cabinet inside. Emailed and we got a really generic ‘sorry about that email’ not a proactive response… We had to do all the chasing. A few days later one part of the replacement came but not the other part. We rang again to try and book another pick up slot they said Monday… We had annual leave booked and we waited for the whole of Monday and no one came so we’ve now had this 6ft cabinet in our hallway for over a week and we’ve moved it in and out to kerbside for pick up multiple times. I emailed to tell them they just said ‘it’s the couriers fault not ours, they’ll ring you’ that was at 5pm and it’s 10pm as I write this. No responsibility taken at all. I’ve asked for a discount due to all of the inconvenience but as we got 5% off when purchasing they won’t give anymore… Even though that 5 was an offer and nothing to do with the horrific experience we’ve had. I’ve asked for it to be escalated but they literally won’t refer me to complaints and won’t do anything to try and resolve what’s happened… We still have the fault cabinet in our hall with no idea when it’s being picked up or the replacement delivered!Also every time they deliver something they leave a pallet so we’ve now got 2 pallets soon to be 3 instead of 1 we should have had so that’s also 3 trips to the tip now. Terrible communication. You cannot call them and even if you reply immediately to their emails they do not respond for days. I realised I had entered the wrong discount code on my order so requested a cancellation so I could reorder. They did not reply for days and when they did asked why. I replied immediately but again they did not respond so I ended up missing out on the discount. I then emailed them to ask them not to cancel my original order (as I still need the items) and to let me know when the items will be delivered. They responded saying they will cancel the order! They do not even read your emails properly. Very poor customer service.
Avoid buying from them - hopeless customer service and fulfilment issues! We placed an order for 5 radiators, a towel rail and some accessories on on 13th Jan 2021 when all stock was shown as available (This was important as our heating had failed and we only had a small portable halogen heater to heat our flat). We finally cancelled today - 4th February 2021. They have NO ability to allocate stock to specific customer orders meaning that each week our order has been delayed by one item no longer being available and each time it came into stock another item had gone out of stock - this happened 5 times. Each week it was a different item. You can try complaining to their MD (Stephnie Judge) at stephnieatvictorianplumbingdotcodotuk or alternatively take your business to B&Q or Wickes who both fulfilled our orders promptly. There is no point in customer service apologising unless they are prepared to change their operational capabilities (actions not words! ). To be fair a customer service manager, Andrew Taylor, eventually called after I contacted their MD to try and expedite the order but by then I had no faith in them resolving the issue quickly. Again to be fair they refunded our order incredibly quickly when we cancelled … This could be due to them having lots and lots of practice due to ongoing customer fulfilment problems which are not being addressed. I would recommend you take your business elsewhere - this is probably the only way Victorian Plumbing will bother to address their customer fulfilment and service issues.Moreexpand_more
Ordered bath and basin when it arrived could not install immediately as plumber not available when it came to installing the bath was found to have lumpy runs in the coating called them they said would replace took 10 days new bath arrived with marks in coating again have given up friend says he can repair will go that route Would never use this company again and would advise everyone to steer clear.
Stay well clear, bought a bathroom suite, found toilet seat faulty. Now 4+ months on still no resolution. Supplied many photos and video as they wouldn’t start complaint process. 4mth later after threat of escalating they said they couldn’t open photos, which they had and had started the process already apparently. Then said photos were too small. It was all delay tactics. Victoria Plumbing sent two replacement toilet seats, both wrong, completely different seats with different fixings. PLEASE, save yourself the stress and frustration, shop elsewhere. This must be the most unprofessional company I have had the misfortune of dealing with, seems to be run by people that really just don’t care or just can’t be bothered. I've taken a week off work to decorate the dining room. I ordered a double panel vertical radiator on the 20th October for store collection in 3 working days. The radiator should have been available to collect today (26th) however when I have tracked the order, it has changed to the 30th October. Whilst they tell me after purchasing that these dates are an 'estimate' I am left feeling completely misled and held to ransom by extortionate delivery charges. This is the first of 6 radiators I am replacing. The order is now being cancelled and I have gone elsewhere where their next day delivery is £12. 99 as opposed to almost £40!
BUYER BEWARE - NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE Shower curtains appeared to have been dragged around a dirty warehouse floor before being packaged and delivered. Only response from this company has been two automated emails blaming Covid for the delay in dealing with the issue. Then nothing, no response to multiple emails requesting help and their phone number just rings away. I hope the reviews for this company serve as a warning to any potential customers.
Appalling customer service. No contact telephone number except for trade; obviously more valued customers than the individual. Twelve e mails sent regarding faulty and missing items and a telephone call to the trade desk where a manager refused to speak to me. I will never buy from this company again who refuse to rectify their own mistakes!
Honestly there are no words for how bad these are. 3 months I've waited for me suite an date kept being pushed back for a towel rad not in stock. The date it was suppose to come back in stock came an went twice without them telling me. I ended up ordering something else. I then agreed for a date an was sent the trakker. Tha day came an went. Nothing absolutely zero delivered. Some my say sweet fa. Rang again for a new delivery, as of today, classic delivery time between 8 an 7pm. Rang again, depo told me the delivery driver has been on a delivery course this morning, you couldn't make this up. Also said do you want this tomorrow. Hes late. Finally arrived at 18:40, the dtiver then says to me, they just threw this on me at last minute. Ive actually lost the will to live at this point. Surely it cudnt get any worse. I oftern wonder how do these companies carry on like this but jesus. Im a plumber and I will never ever ever ever buy from this lot again.Moreexpand_more
