When my dear wife passed away, I decided to have my signet ring restructured and to have the initials of both of us - B and G - engraved on it instead of my own. I also wanted to incorporate in the ring the wedding rings belonging to my father and grandfather. Geoff fully understood what I wanted and did a magnificent job - I am very pleased with the result.

Finally we've both got our rings back on. Pete hasn't worn his for years as it was too small, mine had to be cut off in December and my finger given enough time to lose the groove before they could resize to get it over my arthritic knuckle! I'd thought that I'd never be able to wear my ring again but the lovely guys at Victoria James said different……. And here we are……. So happy.

I had a bespoke ring made, incorporating the birthstones of my family. All staff were extremely helpful and advised me on what the best design would be and I was so happy with the process and final result. The jeweler searched for the right sized, good quality stones and would not settle for anything less. We were impressed with the service from start to finish and it was a lovely experience. Whilst there, my parents also wanted to trade in some gold. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very honest to the point of sending us elsewhere with one item as they thought that they would receive a better price. Totally professional and lovely people.

What an impressive service! The staff at Victoria James were patient and helpful when we were choosing an engagement ring. After a bad experience elsewhere, finding Victoria James was a stroke of luck. We ordered our wedding rings from them and now take all our jewellery there for cleaning and repairs.

The guys at the shop made the whole experience of designing to receiving the commitment ring an absolute pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble and their knowledge and help was fantastic. We have already decided and told them that we will be back to get them to design and make our wedding rings.

My husband and I visited Victoria James in the Jewellery Quarter in search of a string of pearls to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We hadn't made an appointment but were welcomed and were attended promptly. Everyone was very attentive and knowledgeable. We are extremely pleased with the pearls chosen and were able to find beautiful pearl earrings too. We were taken through how to look after the pearls and they were packaged in excellent sturdy presentation cases. A discount was given on the overall cost of the items and we really felt valued as customers. Would definitely purchase items from Victoria James again and would definitely recommend.

I have had several bespoke items made by Victoria James - two rings and two necklaces. The friendly advice and service was second to none and the finished items beautiful and wonderfully made. I would never go anywhere else and would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful jewellers.

Recently had my wedding band resized and the pattern recut, also my diamond engagement ring reset into a new kiss style band, I am absolutely delighted with both rings and would recommend this company. Their service is both friendly and efficient.

Amazing! … The clasp on my gold bracelet had broken and a work colleague had to it cut with bolt cutters to remove it from my wrist. So you can imagine the damage that had been caused, it has great sentimental value and I was so worried that it was beyond repair, Thankfully I came across Victoria James and the magician that is Geoff ! . It was like a moment from ‘The Repair Shop’ when I went to collect it, this had been more of a restoration than repair, I was overwhelmed that it was back to new again! . The whole experience from my initial phone call, to the visits to the shop, all the staff I met were so helpful, the communication by email and text too was excellent. I commissioned Victoria James for an engagement ring. The ring they created was a perfect representation of the design my fiancée wanted. She was very happy with it. The staff did an excellent job of listening to what we wanted and tweaking the design in response to our comments. They also produced the ring for slightly less than the budget I had given them. I would definitely use Victoria James again if I wanted to commission more jewelry.

Just before the latest lockdown due to COVID, we took our late Mom's gold watch to Victoria James Jewellers to see whether they could fix the bracelet which had broken. We were told this would be a very tricky repair but the bracelet was brilliantly fixed by you wonderful people at Victoria James. Your attention to detail is second to none. While we were discussing Mom's watch, I saw the most gorgeous ruby and diamond ring, which I fell in love with. When collecting Mom's watch, which I have worn many times since with pride, my lovely husband bought me this beautiful ring and presented it to me on Christmas morning! Needless to say, very happy tears were shed! We can only thank you for the very helpful and brilliant service we received from you and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending you to our friends and family for any future assistance/purchase. We have now used Victoria James twice and have been very pleased with all the work and the service we received. It’s very easy to book an appointment online and all receipts sent online too. They redesigned an inherited solitaire ring which we were very pleased with and also resized my wedding, eternity and engagement rings.
