Vamos Paella

Everyone was so impressed with the 3 paellas at my birthday party! I was able to try all 3 and they were so delicious (and topped with a lovely salad)! I would definitely recommend Vamos Paella again - the staff were sweet, punctual, professional and completely efficient. They arrived with their own lighting as well as I had not anticipated that and even packed up any leftovers afterwards. Great value for money as the quote included the boxes and wooden cutlery.

You were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you (and hope to have an excuse to use you again ourselves! ).

Melissa, Beatrice and the whole team were exceptional to work with. They took to the time to understand our needs and the uniqueness of the wedding so that by the time the day came everything ran smoothly. Feedback from the guests was that the food was of a high quality and the service was second to none. We are so appreciative of everything they did, even though it was raining! Ben, Charlotte, Naomi and the rest of the bar/waiting staff worked incredibly hard and were friendly, approachable and most of all tolerant. Thank you very much indeed.

I hired Vamos for a wedding on Hove seafront and it was a perfect fit! The food was absolutely delicious and all the guests raved about it. Melissa was lovely to deal with leading up to the wedding - with a wonderful evening of tasting - and catered to all of our needs. Highly recommend A.

Having sampled Vamos Paella's food at a wedding we decided to use them for our annual summer party. The food was absolutely delicious and it was great to see it cooked on the spot; the staff were all calm and cheerful and couldn't have been more helpful, which all contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. Our guests loved it and lots of them made very complimentary comments. The clear up at the end was brilliant, leaving our house and garden in perfect condition. We recommend Melissa and her team thoroughly.

Lunch time garden party for 190 people to continue the celebrations of our daughter's wedding the day before. Melissa was very helpful from our first contact. The choice of paellas was excellent, we had 5 covering vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, meat eaters and gluten free dietary requirements. The taste and quality of the food was excellent and all the guests were very enthusiastic about it- especially as it was something a little different to the norm. The team was totally professional and cleared up perfectly. Couldn't have been better!

Catered for my 50th party, at home in the garden for 40 people. Everything went really well - from the initial contact and discussions over menu choices with Melissa to set up and catering on the day. Meriel and Bea were just lovely, couldn't have been more more personable or professional, and the tapas and paella were fantastic. Everyone left commenting on the food and it was just exactly what I had hoped for. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Vamos Paella catered for our celebration for 80 people at The Party Field in Lewes. We had the lunchtime canapés and 3 paellas, and evening food of cheese tower and honey glazed ham. The food was really delicious, our guests all raved about it. Having the paellas in the big pans set up in a tent outside out marquee made quite a spectacle. The paella tasted very authentic and the flavours were lovely. Melissa has been a pleasure to do business with, very professional throughout, from the tasting onwards. Communication was easy and she offered us helpful recommendations about timings and other ideas that helped make the day go smoothly. I cannot recommend Vamos Paella highly enough.

Party to celebrate my 60th Birthday. 80 guest so handed the catering over to Melissa and the crew from Vamos Paella Martin and Bob. They arrived promptly at six pm to set up and get everything looking great for when the Guest arrived. We had the pleasure of watching them cook before everyone tucked in at 9. Loads of food including veg option nicely presented in cardboard boxes with wooden forks for easy clearing up afterwards. Food was perfect tasty and abundant including fresh bread and salad. Lots of compliments from the guests. And for the one paying the bills, me. I liked the fact that the price quoted included everything. I did compare to other companies that seemed initially to do the same but for better prices but quickly discovered that they added costs for just about everything including the cooks, travel and the food boxes. Absolutely brilliant, from our first interaction to the event itself. Melissa was super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was set up quickly and the clear up was superb, I didn't have to do a thing! The paellas themselves were delicious and really added to the 'festival' vibe of my party. The three options (veggie, seafood and meat) meant there was something for all my friends to enjoy and everyone commented on what a brilliant idea it was to have them and how wonderful the food and staff were. Thank you so much for making my party extra special and for the hassle free and lovely service.

High quality professional and friendly throughout, Vamos Paella helped to make our daughters wedding reception truly memorable. From the cooking to the serving and the final clear up, Melissa and her team were helpful, cheery and efficient. There were many compliments on the range and quality of the tapas, paellas and desserts.

Melissa catered for 120 guests at our New Year’s Eve wedding. The food was excellent we had three paellas, salads and a cheese tower and everybody is still raving about them! Melissa was very helpful with all aspects of wedding planning and we had a wonderful relaxed wedding day.

I was looking for something a little different for my 50th birthday party -a sit down meal but nothing too formal and certainly not the standard mass catering dry chicken breast. Vamos were superb from the intial 'phone call - very customer focussed providing the best possible service. I opted for the tapas and three paella to cater for 60 guests youngest 12, oldest 81. The quality of all the food was exceptional -Melissa cooked outside (under a gazebo) as the venue could not permit inside cooking. The tapas were interesting as well as tasty and the Paellas were simply superb. I used a local firm for my tableware but you can hire this from Vamos at a reasonable cost. I hired two Vamos serving staff who were very helpful throughout the evening in serving the champagne and tapas, the paella and the 'puds' which had been prepared by my friends. The level of after care was also very good -all cleared away and spare wine etc. Packed away for me to take home. Finally, I have had at least three more meals for the family with the left over Paella which is easily frozen and cooks quickly in the microwave. Very highly recommended.Moreexpand_more

The level of service provided by Vamos Paella was outstanding, from choosing the menu right through to the delivery of the event. The chefs were efficient and organised, and the quality of the food was remarkable. All attendees of our corporate event were astounded by the authentic taste and the huge variety on offer. We really couldn't have asked for any more.

Melissa and her team catered for our wedding in West Sussex a couple of weeks ago and they were absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and I have lost count of the number of compliments we received, both during the wedding and in the days that followed. From the canapes and fizz, to the tapas, paella and evening catering, everything was fresh, authentically Spanish and of an extremely high quality. Melissa was an absolute pro who really understood how weddings work, offering advice and adapting the catering to suit our needs. As a result the whole day flowed beautifully and the event was staffed by an extremely friendly, helpful team. My only regret is that I didn't eat more, but sadly my dress wouldn't allow it!

We booked Vamos for my daughter's 21st birthday celebrations which we held two days ago. We had a total of 80 guests ranging from 9 months to 88 years old. Melissa was great with communication and menu tips, and Nina and Marcin who were our chefs for the day were fantastic. Melissa and her team at Vamos Paella catered for our wedding this July (105 adults and 44 kids) and were superb. Wedding planning can be stressful but the one thing that didn't give me any trouble whatsoever was catering - it was always in Melissa's capable and professional hands. She helped navigate us through the catering and figuring out exactly what we needed - they provided all plates, cutlery, etc as well as waiting staff and a maitre d'. They were excellent. Professional, courteous, attentive and unobtrusive. On my wedding day, I didn't have to worry about a single thing catering related - it all ran incredibly smoothly. I am truly thankful to Melissa for her friendly and unflappable nature. She stepped in to provide a lunch of finger sandwiches, macaroons and strawberries when our other provider didn't work out. No request seemed to be too big or too small for her. She was great at handling our childrens' menu. And then the food - it was DELICIOUS. I am half Spanish and had Spanish relatives - as well as many foodies - in attendance and everyone agreed the food was excellent. We had tapas and 3 different paellas and they were all divine. The highlight of my birthday party had to be the paella from Vamos! Their staff on the evening (Bea and Shelley) were wonderful so very professional and calm yet warm and friendly at the same time - the food they produced was superb, on time and efficiently distributed. All the guests were raving about the various delicious paella flavours, how many they had tried and which they preferred. They also picked the perfect spot to cook so that as the guests walked into the party they were greeted by the wonderful aroma and spectacle of the cooking. The whole service from the initial phone call to Melissa to the clearing up by the team when they left was outstanding - thank you Vamos!
