At Value Testing Services we offer an affordable yet quality PAT Testing service to our clients. We have over 15 years of experience within the industry and we consider ourselves specialists at carrying out our testing to a detailed strategy while always keeping disruptions to a minimum.
After you've had your consultation either at the intended site or via telephone we will then discuss what options are available to you and what options we think are the best going forward for you to keep compliant with your health and safety requirements.
How do we carry out our PAT Testing ? Once on site we will be in constant dialog with the duty holder to check if there are any specific locations that he/she would want us to start testing at. Once set up we carry out three very important steps to our PAT Testing. One, a thorough visual inspection of the appliance to make sure the item is safe to use. Two, If the item is Class 1 then an earth bond test will be carried out, This ensures that the appliance is watched and that it will nulifi the risk of obtaining an electric shock through the appliance. And finally number three, An insulation resistance test with will confirm that everything is safe with the appliance and that a PASS sticker with our companies details on them will be applied to the item to show visually to you and your staff/customers that you are compliant with your PAT Testing requirements.
Once the job is complete and the client is fully satisfied with the service provided then we will supply you with a Detailed Asset Register which logs every appliance you have on site. You will then also receive a PASS Certificate to show that your property has been fully tested and signed off by one of our engineer's. Finally we will then give you an invoice to which will be made payable alongside your usual payment methods be it 7,14 or 30 days.

We had Stuart attend both our Glasgow and Edinburgh sites to carry out PAT Testing in our office's and workshops. He turned up on time and was very accomodating taking into consideration that our office is extremely busy he came up with a plan of action that caused minimum disruptions and allowed us to continue with our workload, We will be using Value Testing Services for all our PAT Testing in the future.

When we opened our Cafe one of the conditions on our insurance policy was that we needed to have our portable appliance testing carried out. Value Pat Testing Glasgow were very easy to deal with and considering we got 2 quotes for between 30/40 appliances they managed so save us £25 on top, Will definitely use them again next year.

Stuart performed my PAT testing at short notice at a busy time of year and done an excellent job. His rates are some of the most competitive in Glasgow and the work was quick and trouble-free. He was able to answer any question I had. Best of all, he was able to label my certified appliances in locations where the label is out of the field of view, excellent idea! As a landlord, I'll be contacting Stuart for future testing.
