Vacuum Glazed Windows is a Kensington-based supplier of vacuum glazed timber windows and doors, built for owners of heritage, listed and period properties who cannot fit standard double glazing. Our vacuum glazed units are as slim as 8. 3mm - close to the thickness of original single glazing - yet insulate to the level of triple glazing, which is why conservation officers accept them in conservation areas and listed buildings where thicker units are refused.

We are a supply-only specialist, not an installer. Architects, joiners, builders and homeowners receive the glass, timber frames and hardware as one coordinated specification, which is then fitted by your own installer or a member of our vetted partner network. This keeps quality control over the glazing itself in specialist hands, while leaving you free to choose who does the fitting.

Every part of what we do is geared toward listed and period property work: we can talk through the difference between listed building consent and planning permission, explain what conservation officers typically expect to see, and provide the technical detail architects need for a listed building consent application.
