VacuSystems are the UK distributors of BVC central vacuums of Germany, with over 2000 BVC systems installed to date in the UK. BVC include an unrivalled, 10-year warranty on thier vacuum units, which are manufactured to the highest standards.

If you are building or renovating a property, then consider the benefits of including a central vacuum system. The inclusion of a central vacuum system within any sized property, offers numerous benefits and in particular, greatly improves the indoor air quality, which in turn is a major help to Asthma and Allergy sufferers, which is a common ailment with people living in today’s highly insulated properties.

The inclusion of a central vacuum system will improve your indoor air quality, because all of the vacuumed dust is deposited within the dirt canister, which is located away from habitable rooms, in a garage, loft, utility room, basement or cupboard.

The other benefits of the system, include a much quieter, quicker and more efficient cleaning experience with a wide selection of tools and accessories to make cleaning much easier.

A central vacuum system consists of a Power Unit, which is located away from your living areas, in a garage, loft, utility room, basement or cupboard.

The Power Unit is linked to a small number of conveniently located Inlet Valves, by concealed 50mm (2”) plastic pipe-work, fittings and LV (Low Voltage) Cable. The pipe-work can be routed within ceiling joists, floors, service voids, cupboards, studded walls, floor screed and loft spaces and anywhere that can be accessed and hidden from view.

Pipe and fittings for the system have been specially designed for ‘air movement’ and regular plumbing fittings are not compatible in size or specification. There are various fittings available for the installation and the process for attaching them to the pipe is by using solvent glue.
Inlet Valve mounting plates or back boxes connect to the system pipe-work and are designed to secure the Inlet Valves into position on a wall or floor. At the back of each mounting plate, a specially designed ‘short restrictor elbow’ is fixed, to prevent any objects that could possibly cause a blockage from entering the system.

VacuSystems range of power units are manufactured to the highest standards and we can specify a unit to suit any size property and to suit your budget. The power units, include a wide range of motor (5.7" and 7.2") sizes and include our excellent 5 year warranty. Power unit filtration options are available in; Cyclonic, Inverted Bag, Cartridge Filters and Disposable Paper Bag.

No matter what you are a looking for, we have a Central Vacuum System that will fit your needs, complete with all the accessories you might desire, at an affordable price!

We also supply power unit circuit boards, transformers, relays and various other items for our Central Vacuums and we can generally source replacement items for older equipment for many other brands of vacuum units.

VacuSystems also supply a wide range of replacement motors, filter screens, inverted filter bags, polyester filters and paper filter bags for our power units.

When choosing to include a central vacuum system within your property, you'll discover that the choice of cleaning hoses and attachments is extensive and VacuSystems have a selection of tools and accessories that are unrivaled, when compared to a traditional vacuum cleaner.

We have been using our central vacuum system since the mid-1990s and it was supplied and installed by VacuSystems of Liverpool. Our large property is serviced by two separate S2800 vacuum units and we really like the power and flexibility that an in-built vacuum systems offers. Our two lightweight hoses are easily inserted into the wall valves and the cleaning is undertaken in a quiet, fast and effective manner, using a variety of specialised floor and upholstery tools. Since the original vacuum installation, there have been some new innovative tools and accessories introduced, which we’ve purchased from VacuSystems, who have proven to be a very friendly and dependable company. In December 2010, we were renovating our property in Allerton, Liverpool, when we decided to include a built-in vacuum cleaning system. As a plumbing company we were familiar with the concept and had received good endorsements about CVac systems, from other trade associates. We invited a couple of companies to survey our premises and decided on Vacusystems of Maghull, to supply the complete system. As plumbers, we installed the central vacuum system ourselves, which was straightforward and involved installing four inlet valve kits, with PVC pipe, fittings and LV cable, which took two days to install. The vacuum unit is an Astro-Vac SR15 model, which is both, powerful and reliable and all the items were delivered within two days of ordering. Vacusystems also supplied us with our automatic cleaning hose and attachments and the system is so simple to use and we don’t have to carry a heavy vacuum around anymore! We’re delighted to have included a central vacuum and would recommend Vacusystems to other trade associates, friends and family. Alex McKechie. AMAC Plumbing and Heating.

I bought my central vac system from VacuSystems in 2001. I had seen these systems whilst visiting family in Toronto. Whilst building the extension to my house I came across an advert in a home improvements magazine. In my extension I was installing a surround sound with plasma in my lounge and multi room audio video through the house and a lighting control system in the lounge. I also installed a water softener and draft mineral water system. So to have a central vac system fitted neatly in with all my other renovations in my extended home. Installation was very simple and did not slow down any other workers. The central power unit is stored in my brick shed attached to the house and have 4 plug-in points, 2 up 2 down. I silently, regularly vacuum our cars. My mum when she visits daily vacuums the whole house as it is so light, quiet and safe to use. In our busy lives we now employ a cleaner a couple of hours a week. Our home is her favourite contact. Our hard floor conservatory and kitchen and our soft carpeting are equally easy to clean. Because of its ease of use when we strip our beds each week, running the central vac over the mattress has become part of the routine. I can watch TV, talk on the phone and hear the door bell ringing while vacuuming my floor It is not expensive either. We used to run an upstairs and downstairs with a portable vacuum cleaner, lots of moving parts to break, heavy and LOUD. We don’t miss them in an age where we don’t repair products; it is great to have a product like our Astro-Vac central vacuum system that is still running faultlessly after 12 years. One of the best investments we ever made. Many of our friends have copied us and got there selves a silent reliable affordable central vacuum system from VacuSystems. I’m not normally motivated to write a testimonial, but the exceptional service, product and value for money have prompted me for once to do so.Moreexpand_more

In June 1998 we extended our property space with a loft conversion and refurbishment of our four bedroom home and included a central vacuum system, serving all three levels. After searching for a supplier and installer of integrated vacuums, we chose VacuSystems and they installed a Vacu-Maid P73H and three inlet valves, one on each floor level. The installation was completed in one and a half days, without fuss and in a very professional manner. We have been delighted with our choice of supplier and central vacuum system and the level of service provided and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone contemplating a central vacuum installation. Since the initial installation, we’ve upgraded our cleaning hose and attachments and the friendly service encountered and the prompt delivery of our new items impressed us both!

Sanjay Patel, Purley, Surrey. “Before I got in touch which Chris at Vacusystems, I knew nothing about central vacuum systems, like the one which was partly installed by the builders who built my house. The builders also installed our conservatory and unfortunately buried the Low Voltage wire underneath my new porcelain tiles. Like many people I searched the internet desperately trying to find a UK based company that had expertise in this field - this was a task in itself! Then bingo, I came across Vacusystems and we talked through my issues which actually emanated into realising there were more issues with the inherited vacuum system than I had thought. Chris talked me through deriving a solution for each of the issues, step by step. I must have spoken to him for about 3 hours in total over the space of 3 months, and several emails too. His knowledge and trouble shooting skills were exemplary, better than any instruction manual you could get. I was also impressed with his honesty and integrity as there were many opportunities where he could have sold me a very expensive solution to the low voltage wire issue but instead he was really trying to help me out in order to avoid higher costs. Luckily I managed to locate the LV wire but even then I needed Chris to walk me through exactly what I needed to do next. Vacusystems sold me all the extra parts which I needed which should have been included within the kit I had inherited but wasn't. The cost of this was a fraction of what the costs could have been and I am pleased to say that thanks to Chris, I now have a fully operational central vacuum system".Moreexpand_more
