I found V. Wilkinson & Son Ltd through the excellent Dulux membership panel, as l had a contract for refurbishing parts of two listed properties in Windermere for which l required a first class decorator and l did not have any contacts in the area. Decoration of the external areas, stripping back all wood, repairing damaged areas, replacing cracked and chipped glass, repainting to protect the wood and bring to an excellent finish. Interior decoration to blend in where alterations had occurred so they were invisible. The team provided a professional service from start to excellent finish, including bringing in other trades to deal with some repair issues and managing that process. Photographs were forwarded at each stage of the project as l could not be on site at all times. They worked cleanly and with care. Fully trustworthy when working alone maintaining the security of the properties. Good advice and management of the decorating process, on time and within budget, fully guaranteed. Sean's service is 'old school' professional. You can trust the guys within your home & you can tell that they really know what they are doing. We have an old georgian house and had lincrusta replaced in the hall and the mouldings on the ceiling painted to bring out the grape vines, fruit & flowers. It is quite expensive for this kind of work but the last time we had it done we went for the cheaper supplier & the experience was the opposite. So if you want to be able to trust and have a result you enjoy looking at in your home I'd chose Sean.

Sean and his team took on a small job for me in re-painting my hall way and landing.
