Universal Sailing School is a RYA approved sail training school, based in the Solent on the Hamble River. We offer the full syllabus of RYA practical sailing courses using very well maintained privately owned yachts based in Mercury Yacht Harbour.

Our RYA sailing courses include, RYA Start Yachting, RYA Competent Crew, RYA Day Skipper, RYA Coastal Skipper, Yachtmaster Coastal, Yachtmaster Offshore. We also provide own boat tuition, master class days in sail handling and boat handling, try yachting days, flotilla training weekends, mile building weekends, ICC assessments and bespoke sailing tuition.

We offer the option to book your own cabin, which is unique to Universal Sailing School, or you can choose to share a cabin at a discounted rate. All our instructors are professional commercially endorsed Yachtmasters.
