About Universal Martial Arts
Universal Martial Arts karate and kickboxing school, aims to provide only the best in martial arts for both kids and adults. From complete beginner to advanced. The North Easts largest full time center, Kids karate, Junior Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, Street Self Defence, over 40 classes a week spread over two floors.Universal Martial Arts has an expanding club, of not only students but also teachers. The classes are designed for 4-6 year olds, 7-13 year olds and 14+.
The company is owned and managed by Stephen Savage who has been running the club for many years. He has been an active member of the martial arts and self defence scene for many years - taking part and winning many competitions. Stephen has now decided to focus his attention on teaching others.

I have been going to Universal Martial Arts for roughly 4 years. I had never done any martial arts before, but in since joining I have gained a lot of new skills and techniques as well as improving my overall fitness in a friendly environment with a fun atmosphere.
