UK Screeds Ltd is the leading supplier and installer of anhydrite screed in the country. An anhydrite screed is a free-flowing screed that we can lay at a rate of 100 square metres in 45 minutes or so, and up to 2,000 square metres in a day. This fast rate of installation combined with quick drying times (surface ready to be walked on in less than 48 hours) means no interference with other trades on site.

At UK Screeds we don’t just supply and lay floor screeds. All anhydrite screeds are quick to lay and self-levelling, and they also dry to a state of being able to walk on in less than 48 hours. However, they produce a layer of laitance which needs to be removed before the final flooring is laid. We use floor sanding machines to remove the laitance and produce a perfect smooth and levelled surface.

At UK Screeds we supply gyvlon screed which is a flowing screed produced by Anhydritec. The company’s Excelio range offers very fast installation times, and it can be laid very thinly, to as little as 12mm. It achieves maximum surface regularity at SR1 (it cannot get better than that) and bridges the gap between smoothing compounds and bonded screeds. As an accredited partner, UK Screeds supplies Excelio ready mixed. The screed also dries very fast.
