As a firm of corporate finance advisers, we've been working with Paul (Clarke) for several years now. His coaching with us comprises monthly one-on-one sessions with myself and my business partner plus a session with the three of us together; both types of sessions are very valuable in their own distinct ways. Our team comprises two partners and three staff, so 'people issues' (recruitment, training, development, work allocation etc) are a perennial item on the agenda for our monthly meetings with Paul; he is excellent at providing an impartial, insightful, external perspective, helping us to 'look down' on our own business with more clarity. Paul also provides creative input in the areas of client service, productivity, marketing and business development. A particular skill of Paul's that I would highlight is his ability to recognise our reality, namely that my business partner and I always feel that we are at 'full capacity' with our 'day jobs'; Paul is nevertheless able to lift us up and get us focused on a small number of high-impact actions; areas of improvement for the next month that we can execute despite the busy-ness.

I have been attending the Owner Manager Group (OMG) run by Paul Clarke for a number of months now, and the value I get from the sessions is phenomenal. The sessions allow every single person to discuss their business with the group and the challenges they face, and Paul does a fantastic job of not only sharing his only specific insight and training materials, but allowing other participants to share their own experiences of tackling those problems. This gives a really good mix of opinions, insights and ideas, and has massively helped me to develop both my business, and myself personally, for what I think is an incredibly reasonable price. I also think it is fantastic that all the money raised goes towards a truly amazing charitable cause. Jim has helped me a huge amount already, even after our first meeting, I felt I had got so much value from the session to support me with growing my business - Wine Tours of Kent.
