Tyrrell Art Gallery

We purchased these two beautiful prints from Louise at Tyrrell Art Gallery. Louise was friendly and knowledgeable, and even brought the prints to our house on a trial basis, so we could see if they worked in the space we had available. It was a pleasure to meet Louise, whose genuine passion for contemporary art shines through.

Tyrell are gallery boasts an eclectic array of artists with unique paintings and sculptures. My choice was by Bennison. Louise is an amazing curator with extensive knowledge of art from around the world.

I received a flyer about an art exhibition going up in Grantchester recently and decided to go along with a friend to have a look. I am a fine artist myself and so is my friend. We truly enjoyed the Tyrrell Art Gallery exhibition and spent about an hour looking at the work. Most art galleries have a predictable sameness of wares. But the paintings and prints at Tyrrell are extremely diverse -- from traditional landscapes to futuristic abstractions. I ended up purchasing a small acrylic and graphite painting by Luciano Rosado -- it is exquisite -- sensitive and lovely with dramatic textures and colours. As a collector, as well as an artist, I would highly recommend the Tyrrell Art Gallery.

These guys are great. It's easy finding what you like, but the level of expertise is what impressed me so much about Tyrells. Great choice of artworks too.

What has always intrigued me about this art gallery is the feeling of a connection among all the artists, even if they are from all over the world. It's a warm and delicate experience seeing all the artworks the gallery has been putting together, surely an interesting vision about the actual contemporary art. Soon I move to my new house, the "view in a room" tool is very helpful to choice the right artwork! And the contact I had with the customer service was just perfect!

Louise has personally selected some amazing artworks, and I have been amazed by the level of service I received when considering art for my home. She seems to know the artists personally and provides excellent communication. Thank you x.

Lovely supportive art gallery with a personal touch. Louise, the owner, is so helpful and the art is beautiful. It arrives well packaged and sometimes, personally delivered.

I've been to several exhibitions and seen work handled by this gallery. They also do awesome pop-up viewings in and around Cambridge. The holdings are really beautifully curated and the owner friendly and helpful. She's a lot of fun to talk to. Absolutely recommend Tyrrell Art Gallery!

I purchased 2 paintings by Rutenilton Melo back in 2014 and meant to post a review then. The paintings were exactly what I was after and Tyrrell Art Gallery bought the 2 pictures to me to look at and so that I could judge their suitability for the space. They left the paintings with me before I had paid them and were very helpful at all stages of the buying process.

Tyrrell Art Gallery have the most beautiful selection of paintings, jewellery and dresses. The paintings are stunning - they never fail to hypnotise me with their energetic colours and innovative themes. I left the gallery with a smile thanks to some superb, friendly hosting. I'll be visiting again!
