As a former independent prep school Headteacher, I bring decades of experience in curriculum design, assessment, and pastoral care to the forefront of 11+ and ISEB Common Pre-Test preparation. I hold a Master of Education (Distinction) from the University of Buckingham, a First Class B. Sc. From Brunel University, and am a proud Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching (FCCT) and the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI).

At TutorElite, my mission goes beyond simply passing entrance exams. I specialise in my core philosophy of ‘achievement without anxiety’ - systematically building a child's confidence and academic resilience so they can tackle competitive assessments without the crushing pressure.

Online tutoring works just like traditional face-to-face tutoring, but with a simple difference - rather than both being in the same room, the lessons are taught through online video conferencing software. The world has changed over the last two years and far from being a niche idea, the incredible advances in communications put electronic whiteboards and tutoring software at our fingertips. This means the experience your child will receive will be at least as good - and when you consider the time saved and the access to instant learning resources, probably better than traditional methods. A tutor can still monitor your child in real-time and step in when they need to. All we ask is your child has a quiet, undisturbed setting and a suitable device (which incidentally doesn't have to be a £1,500 iMac; we mainly use Zoom and if a device can download Zoom, generally it will be suitable.

You might well be wondering whether online tuition is the way to go. If so, consider these advantages:
1. Travel time is eliminated. After school tuition often means fighting with rush hour traffic.
2. Wherever you are, you can still find the right tutor. Even if you're the other side of the world, we can help, for example later at night.
3. Lesson materials can be easily shared before the session and homework can be returned and marked ready for the next lesson.
4. A private learning environment without the awkwardness your child may feel visiting a tutor or the disruption of a tutor entering your home and taking over the dining room for an hour!
5. Whatever you may think, remember, this is how your children have been learning and this is not an alien concept to them!

Guiding Light.
Mr Bell has been the guiding light in my son’s educational struggles. He was behind by a great deal and since we found Mr Bell, my son has improved in every aspect of and surrounding his education. Not only is he improving and making steady progress with subjects, but he is suddenly able to compartmentalise the tasks he needs to complete surrounding this, not only is he taking the initiative to do so, but he is doing so independently and challenging himself without the need for much intervention from me anymore! I feel that taking on Mr Bell as a tutor has helped my son to have more structure and adopt a completely different attitude towards learning.
