Everything we do is done with creativity and passion and believe in ‘thinking outside of the box’. Our policy is to spend time with every customer to help them explore ideas and choices to make informed decisions about their purchases. Transformations was proud to be voted Best Independent Retailer 2020 because of our superior level of customer service and pure joy for our work.

Transformations is an unusual blend of furniture and framing. Sisters Annie and Janet provide a comprehensive picture framing service from Bespoke and ready made to restored frames to cover a wide range of requirements. We carry a good selection of sample frames and mount colours and are happy to cut mounts to size.

We sell distinctive small pieces of furniture which we have uniquely and lovingly restored in a variety of colours and materials. Commissions are taken including customising you own furniture to give it a new lease of life at sensible prices. See our Facebook / Instagram pages or shop windows for examples. At Transformations we are proud to support local artists and exhibit their work in our shop and gallery window (next to Sunny Foods). Our aim is to provide a variety of high quality handcrafted gifts from felt-work to glass work and much more. We stock cards and showcase the work of an ‘Artist of the Month’.
