Founded in 1993, Transcom has many years experience in the internet service sectors, and provides a full compliment of managed, unrestricted and free business services, as well as proprietory high security email, VPN's, VOIP and SmartDNS services. Transcom also provides and installs Internet and data systems on board commercial and buisness aircraft, including ATG and Satcom ground and air segments. The company is based in Reading, with respresentation in Hungary, Malta, Australia and the Middle East.

Transcom's services are always at the forefront of current trends, offering FreeFone support and in country representation. All aspects of an account can be handled online, whether using the free, unrestricted or managed hosting, and domain name costs are amongst the lowest that can be found. With paid hosting, a domain name is offered free.

We have been Domain Registrars for both the UK Nominet. Uk names as well as all global domains under our contract with Enom in the USA. This enables us to register and transfer names at a fraction of the cost against if you were to go direct. We also have a comprehensive VOIP Switch enabling users to call global locations directly for free, considerably less than regular calls, its allself administered and easy to use.

As software developers we have created countless scripts in everyday use, in bash, php and ADA (for the airline industry), and when we couple this with our in house Linux knowledge and capabilities, we never need to outsource products, projects or support. We also make the only commerically viable domain dropcatching software thats available to the public. Our core is the provision of Premium Grade Hosting and High Security Email services for Business, and to show how good we are, we have many of the same customers since 1993.

On our aircraft and satcom side, we have engineering licences to enable us to roll out hardware and software onto commercial and business aircraft, relevant to all systems, but concentrating on In Flight Entertainment which includes high speed data, safety services and Internet. Within this area we have also developed, and supply, Pepsal's, and fastapn sockets to radically speed up connections, for individuals, system units or entire aircraft.
