TK Arts provides workshops and projects using circus skills and drama. Engaging, empowering and inspiring young people for over twenty five years, Tom from TK Arts has empowered and inspired thousands of children thoughout the UK, Europe and Australia.
TK Arts provides a variety of fun and exciting opportunities and all of our workshops and projects can be tailor-made to suit your requirements. Workshops can last from an hour to a week and anything in between.
Circus Skills taught: diabolo; flowerstick; juggling (balls, clubs, rings and scarves); peacock feathers for balancing; poi swinging; spinning cloths. Also clowning, slapstick and performance skills.
Drama and Street Theatre skills taught: characterisation; drawing a crowd, Forum Theatre; Image Theatre; improvisation; masks; mime; role-play; slapstick; stage combat; story-telling; tableau.
Tom is also able to video workshops and projects, to edit and produce a DVD, which could be used for celebration and evaluation purposes.
Although TK Arts was started in January 2013, Tom Kellett is a professionally qualified, award-winning, youth and community worker with vast knowledge, many skills and extensive experience of working with children and young people in a wide range of settings: detached work; mobile work; outreach work; primary and secondary schools; Pupil Referral Units; youth centres.
