Based in Leigh, Tinkerbelle the Tailor provides a clothing repair and alteration service. A fast and professional sewing solution for small repairs or larger restoration projects. Set up in 2010, I offer 25 years of experience, (after an interest that started when I was 14 years old) deciding to provide a quick fix clothing repair service to my local neighbourhood at an affordable price for the working individual.

My service offers a variety of repair and alteration solutions for most types of clothing and fabrics. I work from home, keeping my costs to a minimum and since this venture started as a paid hobby, the best hours to catch me are in the evening or at the weekend. I have a private fitting room or can offer a home visit as an alternative.

I have been repairing, altering and making clothes since the age of 14. Taught by the daughter of a London tailor after school, I have perfected various sewing and clothing repair skills over many years.
I have a design degree (not relevant to clothing design or tailoring! ) therefore I am naturally creative and can offer a solution that fits most clothing problems.

The service I supply is provided to the individual and not to larger shops and outlets. I keep my costs to a minimum by working from home and can offer a speedy service because I will only work on bespoke projects for individuals and not bulk orders from large shops and outlets.

Tinkerbelle the Tailor has a growing customer base since establishment in 2010. As I only provide bespoke tailoring and sewing repair services I am happy to remain small, personable and affordable with no major business premise over-heads.

I provide a reliable service bespoke to the individual and offer repairs to clothing for any occasion. I use local suppliers for my threds, cottons, fabrics and equipment servicing and I am in the process of creating an informative website to illustrate capabilities as well as previous projects.
