Every Timbermere board is made by hand at the workshop in Selby - there is no factory and no production line. I work in British-supplied hardwoods including European oak, black walnut, American cherry, European beech and Canadian maple, in both end-grain and edge-grain construction, many with juice grooves and hand-rounded edges. Some boards are ready to ship from stock, while others are made to order with a two to three week lead time.

The workshop also offers the Timbermere Board Refresh service, restoring worn wooden chopping boards from any maker, not just our own. Boards are re-sanded, re-glued where needed and finished with fresh food-safe oil and wax, with restoration prices starting from £45. Send a photograph first and I will tell you honestly whether a board can be saved.

Timbermere boards are a popular gift for weddings, wood anniversaries and new homes. Add a note at checkout and it will be included in the parcel, with no prices in the box. Every board comes with clear care guidance - with simple washing, thorough drying and occasional oiling, a well-made hardwood board will serve a kitchen for decades.
