Bought a thermometer that was advertised as reading in centigrade. After a while it switched to farehenheit. No instructions on how to switch it back. Despite being a thermometer branded by this actual company they don’t know how to reset it. Actual quote ‘ These are only meant to be displaying in oC as per the web site description. We have tried many options to change the temperature type. Which is why on the web site it does say display oC only. Not sure how yours is in oF. We are aware what back of the pack says but this is not corret’.Company refuse to replace the item stating, after about 5 e-mails ‘.Please tell us why we should send a new unit ?’.Moreexpand_more
Response : The customer brought this thermometer for £5 back in 16th October 2018 almost 2 years agoWe never said we would not send a replacement I wanted to know WHY the customer feels so strong that he demanded a replacementfor a £5 thermometer near 2 years old, which it out of all grantees and warrenties We still going to send him another one, as don't care about £5, we just wanted to know WHY.

I ordered an item from this company on a Saturday and it was delivered - well packaged - the following Tuesday. The item was exactly as advertised and works within the specified tolerances. Quality is satisfactory for the price. I would order from this company again if the need arose.
