This was the first time I had ever used the spiceworks website…. It clearly states that they despatch the following day of your order. Spiceworks delivery from their site:Orders are sent using Royal Mail 2nd-class delivery or 24 business hour courier. Orders are normally picked/ packed within a maximum of 48 Business hours from payment. This period can vary at peak business times. Peak times are normally November/December and during Bank holiday periods. Once your payment is received and cleared, your order will be despatched as soon as possible. Note: eCheque payments are exactly the same as ordinary cheque payments and take the same amount of time to clear through the bank. I ordered my 100g of herbs on the 06/06/2019…. And I'm still waiting…. It had been a week now…. And when I emailed them…. The person who responded was rude and very cocky…. As if he didn't care at all…. Anyway they said to me that it is no longer their problem and that I should take it up with the Royal Mail…. As they use their services…. (instead of having their own couriers) ?…. All in all…. Absolutely disgraceful…. Their customer service is very unprofessional and they seem to be very unorganised. I WILL NOT BE USING THE SPICEWORKS ANYMORE.Moreexpand_more
Have a problem with my order but have been unable to contact them either by telephone - they don't seem to take phone calls - or by email - no response after four attempts. Pretty disillusioned really as the products are good. JUST A REAL SHAME ABOUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I placed an order on Monday afternoon and received it the following afternoon- top quality service and top quality products. I have visited their shop in pewrson on a previous occassion and nothing was too much trouble for the staff- they are so helpfulmand friendly. I now always use only The Spiceworks for my herbs and spices and would never go anywhere else. Highly recommended.
Great Products, really poor customer service. Every order has to be chased. The last order was incomplete even though it was available when I ordered. No email to explain, just, 'to follow', scribbled on the invoice. A week later I had to chase it up again. Last night I was promised the order would be checked this morning. Now late evening no one has got back to me. Customer communication is the poorest I have ever come across and I order a lot of stuff on the internet.
I ordered some spices from these last week as I was impressed by their range and prices, only a small order at first and I'm glad it was as it didn't arrive. The standard response was "Royal Mail will only look for it in 15 working days" and then no reply to further emails. Shame really I'm down a tenner and they are down a customer. ! Star for quality is a little unfair as obviously I can't judge something that didn't arrive but I can't say it was good either.
Fantastic experience. The Spiceworks are highly professional in every way. Excellent service and products. They put my whole order together in less than 1 hour as it was urgent and delivered it via taxi to my door free of charge- I live 20 miles away from them. I will be back. Mark K.
