The Shakespeare Spit Roast Company

The Shakespeare Spit Roast provided BBQ food for our leaving do in Tiddington in June. The food was top quality and super good value. Simon and the team were so lovely, friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them and would 100% use them again.

We asked the Shakespeare Spit roast company to cater for a community event we were holding here at St Andrews House care home. The guys were great and kept everyone around thoroughly entertained. The food was lovely and had many of our guests going back for thirds! Thank you for helping us to make the event a success and give our residents a day to remember.

A highly professional, courteous and friendly service from the Shakespeare Spit Roast Company. The pork was excellent and we're still enjoying the excess that was bagged up for us! Would we book them again? Emphatically, yes!

Awesome. In every way! I would recomend Simon and his team every time. They helped to make our day so special. The meat was HOT throughout the service, tender and very tasty. All the extras were fab too and more than enough of everything for every one. Another most important fact; nobody had to wait for their food. Our guests were over the moon. 5 STAR RATING.

Simon and his team catered for our company's annual Open Day and did a tremendous job. The whole package was great - everything from the quality & range of food, to customer service, presentation & price. Our guests certainly enjoyed it - evident from the fact that many went back for 2nd's and 3rd's! We will certainly be using them again and would recommend them to others.

We got married at Belvoir Castle on the 17th December 2009 and Simon did the most fantastic pig roast for us on the evening. We wanted something that looked and tasted good which would fit perfectly for a castle wedding and we were not disappointed. It had a real wow factor and certainly impressed all our guests and the staff at the castle. The pig was brilliantly displayed and tasted amazing, it was one of the talking points of our wedding. My Grandad said that it made the evening! It is great value for money you get a huge bap filled with pork and stuffing or apple sauce which means your guests are not left hungry or disappointed, most of our guests went back for seconds and some even thirds! One aspect that makes Shakespeare Spit Roast unique is that they serve you rather than just going to help yourself, which I think is important at a wedding or another important event. I just want to say a huge thank you to Simon and co. For the fantastic pig roast they provided on our wedding day. Simon was extremely helpful, professional and friendly from the start and the service given was truly excellent. So many of our guests commented on how great the food was and how friendly the staff were - it seems to have been one of the highlights of the day! We would recommend this company to anyone. We asked Simon to do a pig roast for our wedding on the 8th of August, he also arranged jacket potatoes; the food was absolutely fantastic and it was all cooked perfectly; most of my guests were farmers so they know a good pig when they are eating one! He really could not have done anything better- thoroughly nice chap. .

Simon is a terrific guy,and was a joy to work with. He provided a great product,and the service really was execptional - it was a complicated party,and he arrived early,and lent a hand wherever he could - certainly well beyond his own brief. We'd have The Shakespeare Sit Roast Company again in a flash !

We used Shakespeare Spit Roast for my Moms 70th birthday, so had a mixture of young and old people. Everyone enjoyed the pig roast, commenting how good the food and staff were. We had good support from the initial enquiry to the day of the party, answering all questions in a timely manner. Some of the guests showed an interest in booking this company for other events that they are involved in. The chef carved the remainder of the pig into manageable joints so that further meals could be had - and did make excellent meals during the following week. We will recommend to others.

Using Shakespeare spit roast took all my worries away, who needs to do the catering when you can have a company like this to take care of your needs. I will be recommending it to my friends.

We hired the Shakespeare Spit roast Company for a 40th Birthday Garden Party. The quality of the food and the efficiency of the staff were excellent. We were particulary impressed with the friendliness of the company. Everyone seemed really happy to be working together. We would definitely use them again.
