The Sentinel Gallery, Chapel Road, Wivenhoe strives to add to the entertainment to residents and visitors of this vibrant and arty village on the banks of the River Colne, a little north of Colchester on the mainline from London.

Weekly exhibitions are held, with artists arriving each week on a Thursday. Anyone interested in hiring the Sentinel Gallery should visit the website and complete the initial google booking form.

The gallery is also home to resident artist Lorraine George, who displays her works, which are all on sale for the benefit of The Rob George Foundation. (Reg. Charity Nos 1156026.

As we endeavor to put together a program of visiting exhibitions we hope that visitors will enjoy the variety of mediums and subject, style and scale of works to be enjoyed.

Wivenhoe is a beautiful place for a visit and a stroll by the river. There are many food outlets to complete your day out and the addition of an art gallery to visit has to be a plus!
