Have attended the Pilates lab for the last few years. I had suffered from severe and recurring back problems for some time. Marina lead me onto the most appropriate group of exercises and posture, always in a very professional manner and I could say that my musculoskeletal problems have decreased tremendously. Marina supports you along for you to achieve optimum benefit from the classes. She is an excellent Pilates teacher/tutor.
I have suffered with a worn out back and neck problems for quite a few years, and was recommended to Marina to alleviate this through Pilates. It has been a fantastic success and now in my mid 70's I have virtually no problems. Marina is a true professional and the exercises designed particularly for my former problems during our classes 1 to 1.
I started Pilates with Marina in November 2019 and have been going twice a week since then. My intention was to recover from a running injury in my hip flexor and adductor. The benefits became clear early on and I enjoyed the classes. The classes are small so Marina can concentrate on each individual and make sure we receive the benefit of the exercises by being precise in our positioning. I can thoroughly Pilates and Marina, in particular, as an excellent teacher.
I’m really enjoying learning Pilates and my body is feeling stronger and more relaxed. Marina is a dedicated and positive teacher who has been great in really helping me do everything precisely. She is passionate about Pilates and identifying which exercises are appropriate for me, and that is very motivating.
I have been attending the Pilates Lab for 2 years. I started as a 68 year old with very bad back problems, which no other treatment seemed able to help. I am now a 70 year old without back problems. Marina's exercise regime appear to have totally done the trick. Totally professional and caring, I thoroughly recommend the Pilates Lab Mill Hill.
Having left a really good Pilates class in Hampstead due to relocating to Mill Hill, my friend recommended me to the “ The Pilates Lab “. I have been attending classes for well over 18 months now and have no hesitation in recommending this first class group run by Marina to anyone of any age. I have suffered from shoulder/ back pain for many years and since coming to The Pilates Lab it has gone! Marina is truly professional teacher who gives attention to detail and teaches and explains excercises. She has an amazing studio which is comfortable and very clean! Try it and see for yourself!
Marina is a fantastic and experienced teacher. She is friendly and very passionate about her work and her clients. Ive only had 4 sessions with her and I have noticed the difference. My headache are much less than before and my body is getting stronger. Marina gives individual attention and that's why even after 4 sessions I feel so good.
Marina is a great teacher. She is very patient and adapts exercises to any level from beginner to advanced. Classes are small so she corrects you individually which is much better than in big classes. I've been going to her for 5 years and now my teenage daughter goes too. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone who wants a rewarding exercise class.
After 30 years medical problems with my back I'm visit The Pilates lab in Mill Hill. Marina she is amazing teacher and also her personality is great. She safe my back, I'm don't have any pain now. Highly recommend her. Great services. High quality and professional standard. Thank you.
Marina gives individual attention during an hour session and her instructions are clear. The premises is clean, the facilities are appropriate and the class is small. The charge for each session might be more expensive than some but to mu mind it is worth my while.
18 May 2014. I have been attending Marina's classes for three and a half years. My posture, figure and general feeling of wellbeing has improved leaps and bounds. I have certain bad habits that need correcting continuously and Marina does just that. She never tires of spotting an incorrect move or position. A very pertinent thing to observe is that when I filled in my "personal detail form" for Marina when I started classes with her, I mentioned that my main aim in taking up the classes was to get out of bed in the morning without back pain. Well. Marina has done exactly that - got rid of the pain for which I am extremely grateful. I have copied below my review written on the 22 Jun 2012 under the name of Wax Lady. Her patience is unending and she explains the movements over and over again until one gets it right. The environment is relaxing in a clean airy studio. The airconditioner also provides an environment which is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Marina's classes are just brilliant! I used to have really bad back problems, but I am so much stronger than I used to be. Marina gives you the personal attention which you need with pilates, but don't often get in big classes. I would recommend her classes to anyone. Charlotte.
My daughter and I came to The Pilates Lab to help relieve my daughter's back problems. Since starting we have both become more flexible, comfortable and stronger in our body core. Marina's teaching is effective and supportive and the sessions are relaxing but also can be demanding. The ambience is very poitive.
Injuring my back at quite an early age, Marina's classes has meant that suffering any further severe problems has been avoided. With small class sizes, Marina gives you personal attention in each class and really examines you to make sure you are using the correct technique.
